    In Memoriam

She was absolutely wonderful, I never met her in person but she was incredible, awful news
  3. Ooh... tempting!
  4. Is that true, I can accept that something might hold emotional value for someone but that doesn't stop it being bad? I mean I understand that people like oasis, I don't know why, but they clearly do, and that is ok. I am a lot more tolerant of other peoples music over 35 than I was before 35.

    Vigier Porn!

Hm I had a bass with a flat top and binding and it hurt my forearm when sitting. It doesn’t look like the ones with binding have an angled bit… I know the ones without binding do. How did you find it? I’m only looking out of idle curiosity tbh.
  6. Depends. Mine doesn't 😭... The last one sold here did. May be selling mine btw.
  7. Where in the chain, at the end after any Amp/Cab Sim?

  9. I'm open to close offers if anyone would like this.

  11. One of my favourite flyrigs. I just don’t use it. Basically a boost, big muff, ampeg amp sim and a Boss OC2 clone. It’s the same octave circuit as the Sonicake Octaver and Valeton OC10 which if you’ve seen my octaver comparisons nail that OC2 tone. DI out and fx loop, honestly if it had a tuner it would be perfect. But it doesn’t and I cover most of my gigs with the Darkglass Element

  13. Up for sale is my great little Epifani UL 110. 250w 8Ohms. 11.6 Kg Bought for home use but has been to a couple of gigs as an extension cab to my old TKs 112 I had at the time. Easily powerful enough on it's own for acoustic stuff etc. Good overall condition. One of the bottom corner protectors is a bit damaged but it dose its job and the carpet is going a bit bobbly in places. Collection from St Helens. Not sure on postage yet as I'm pretty low on packaging and suitable boxes. Could possibly meet up if not too far.

  14. I only spotted it because I have one and it’s awesome
  15. You and I clearly had the same post Wimbledon on TV experience.
  16. Definitely better than The Wheel.
  17. That is quite the back catalogue!
  18. I think that's true of all great bands of that era. At least the ones who didn't die in excess. Social media is largely responsible for taking away the mistique of many bands, actors and celebrities. Much of the time not for the better.
  19. For sale, my Hartke HA 3500 I'm guessing it needs little introduction..... But a super reliable amp in very good clean condition and full working order. Compressor, tube and solid state preamps, 10 band graphic and high/low pass filters complete a comprehensive feature set. 350 watts at 4 ohms 250 at 8 ohm. Always found it more than ample for pub gigs and rehearsals. Comes with rack ears for rack mounting. Will include postage to UK addresses but NI and outlying areas I'll have to get a quote. An questions feel free to ask Cheers

  21. That's a bit of a bargain. I though I got a bargain recently with a Mex Fender replacement neck from amazon at over five times this price. If only the Sire headstock wasn't such a munter.
  22. No surprise it’s on hold. It’s well under priced…..
  23. This album along with We Want Miles was my introduction to Marcus Miller. Still his best era, in my opinion.
  24. I have used the HPF on the B 1 Four for many years. One patch set at 40hz and a second set at 30hz. All my patches included a HPF.
  25. I love his solo on this classic. It's so very melodic. Then he sets it up..
  26. A simple one this evening, for new readers. This is the Ugonna Okegwo bass part for the tune 'You Don't Know What Love Is' from the 1994 Leon Parker album, 'Above And Below'. It is a simple part that mostly repeats the same phrase rhythmically throughout but changes in line with the root notes of the chords of the tune. A simple exercise in note recognition. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/you-dont-know-what-love-is-leon-parker/
  27. That’s a bargain. I had one of these, it’s a super little amp. Glwts
