  4. I only got the code emailed late last night and shared it immediately.
  5. Next up for me is Belgian stoner metal band, Gnome. Heavy riffs and pointy hats. Local band Nomad Lizard are supporting, Ive seen them before and they've got serious groove and songs about wizards with mushrooms.
  6. Dizzy - Wonder Stuff
  7. The 2nd single from Lari Basilio's album 'Far More' with Nathan East and Vinnie Colaiuta is a Michael Jackson cover Lari Basilio - Man In The Mirror | Nathan East
  8. Well well well, that's the first month done and dusted, and haven't you all been a good bunch of abstainers? Mostly. But what an odd January - no-one fell in the first week, so there wasn't a lot to laugh at. Some interesting twists and turns in the whole justification racket (with some enjoyably robust debate - love it), and a few speculative "what if?" type queries which will be monitored closely. January summary - 1 T1 fail and 1 T2 fail. 37 out of 38 still in (T1), 36 out of 38 still in (T2). Well done all, I'm genuinely impressed, or sorry if you've been eating beans on toast this entire month. February warnings - I don't know if it's the same in all local authorities, but up here we've got two months off the council tax Feb and Mar. Don't let that extra scratch in your pocket lead you down the path of temptation!
  9. In answer to question 5: Yes Dimensions are 120mm x 45mm Screw holes are at 17mm centres (5 holes) £20 plus postage?? Cheers
  10. It could have been worse. Imagine what effect a cut on your thumb would have had on your typing.
  11. Some video emerged from last weekend's gig. Just in case you thought I just set up my rig in random places and photograph it every other weekend 20260124 Harbour Lights - Zombie.mp4
  12. Sorry to hear about your possible redundancy. I had the same thing going on, and it ended up dragging on for years - I feel your pain! Anyhow, GLWTS, and a wave from just up the road in Barry.
  13. Did I mention my newest achievement?
  14. Hi, They are the originals as far as I know.
  15. Turn, turn, turn - Pete Seeger
  16. Spinning Around - Kylie
  17. In my case, saying with logistics partner (but with no-quibble 30 day return), so I've asked them which will be easier for them ie for me to cancel/return or them to back date the code to the existing order? Don't want to mess them around too much, though - let's face it, if this offer hadn't come through I'd have been totally fine paying them the listed price as it's already less other retailers.
  18. Bought tickets to see David Byrne at Caesar’s in Las Vegas in April. Quite looking forward to.
  19. i had this exact cab and i replaced the speakers with Kappalites, and in my opinion, it elevated it to a proper pro level cab. This was over 10 years ago and have no clue what driver model i went for, so this is an almost pointless post, but I think they were about £60 each. I did go to 4 ohms too. I did disconnect the tweeter though!
  20. Everyone needs a hobby. This is Gazz's hobby. He would like to be good at music, however it is much easier to make himself feel like he knows a lot by inserting his opinion where it isn't needed whilst trying to sound like an authority on the subject. Pity him. He will never be much good at anything as it is far more important to him that he feels like he is an expert.
  21. This is taking "played it 'til my fingers bled" too far!
  22. That's interesting as my synth bass pedal conclusion usually is: Honeymoon period = 'most fun effect pedal ever, hours of tweaking, this'll sound amazing live'. Then after a few weeks 'the sounds are actually a bit cheesy, I spend too long tweaking it instead of playing, not sure I can trust it live and it feels a bit disconnected/tracking can be an issue' After a couple of months 'Sell it as I'm better off with envelope filters, octavers, overdrive, modulation etc. that feel immediate and reliable and like Bass guitar effects instead of a cheesy outdated synth'. I think this MXR and the latest Future Impact version might change my thinking though.
  23. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
  24. Today
  25. Now if ever there was a bass deserving of a see-thru Perspex pickguard, it’s this one. That walnut is simply stunning. Congratulations on a fantastic job.
  26. Selling my spare Shure GLXD1+ Wireless Transmitter. I planned on having two basses on stage with a wireless each, but I rarely take two basses with me - and the times I do, I have time to switch them over. so, this has sat on my desk for ages. Barely used tbh! Aberdeen based. Can ship.
