  3. I am selling this cool Darkglass Alpha Omega pedal. I don't think it needs much introduction but here are the specs: https://www.darkglass.com/en-gb/products/ao As a huge Karnivool fan, I had to buy it. However, I clearly don't have Jon Stockman's skills 😉 The pedal is in great condition and comes with all the usual DG goodies. There is some velco at the bottom of the pedal (in the four corners). Here is the official sales ad when I bought it earlier this year: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/510669-sold-darkglass-alpha-omega/#comment-5446017 As you can see, I have priced it to sell. I am not interested in any trades as I need the funds for our never ending house renovation project. Shipping will cost extra and the exact amount will depend on the kind of courier you prefer (e.g., Evri will be cheaper than FedEx) and the level of insurance (e.g., none or fully insured).

  4. My stage name is Bob Gerroff!
  5. Coo Ca Choo baby.
  6. I'm like a little boy waiting for Christmas. Just a pity I'm very, very far from being a little boy. 😄
  7. Not specific to the Joyo but reports on the PJB X4 (which this seems to be a loose clone of and is similarly capable) suggest that it can sit in with one or two acoustic guitars but pretty much runs out of headroom to get there. Maybe Joyo will make an affordable version of the Double Four? There's definitely a market for people who want this form factor but don't want to pay PJB money.
  8. Seconded. No possible reason to buy anything more expensive
  9. You can judge for yourself here: Sound test of the new Boss XS-1 pitchshifter, testing octave down and octave up respectively blended with dry signal, on my 28.5" scale tenor bass, tuned in A standard tuning, seeking to emulate a somewhat 8 string octave course bass -esque effect. Octave Down: 0:00 - 2:30 Octave Up: 2:30 - 4:21
  10. Do you need any cash up front Richard?
  11. Can't wait... 😉
  12. Yeah that’s the video that convinced me to buy it.
  13. I've made sure the documentation reflects what's in the actual amp, ready for Sunday's SW Bash
  14. Bass is through finishing and curing this week ready for final assembly next week. Here's a little tease of the finished top. Now radio silence until it's in my sweaty hands.
  15. Great Amp, have one myself, Has 'Enough" power for acoustic sessions through a good cab. Valves easy to replace and relatively cheap. GLWTS
  16. At our guitarist's suggestion, in an early iteration of Nancy Johnson, we decided to drop our surnames and go with our first and middle names. From his perspective, Pete James sounded so much more rock'n'roll than Peter Williams.
  17. Very tempted. It reminds me of aspects of some other pedal's I've loved over the years, most namely the Tach 21 Red Ripper, and the Fuzzrocious Croak, but certainly has its own flavour. I sense a purchase incoming.
  18. If a little limiting…
  19. Have DMd about the Drolo, I reckon I can fix that right up! also - people - those ISO10AC Pro PSUs are *amazing* for the money. They are genuinely properly isolated, I ran a huge board off one and it doesn’t even get warm. Built like tanks, solid. Worth it!
  20. Gigged one the other day! Shame that they’re not getting as much use and love as deserved 😖
  21. Sadly I have buggerd my shoulder so the planned recycling project is on hold although I will be bringing a few cables to sell.
  22. The real aim of every session bass player is a lucrative book tour filled with anecdotes. We all know that.
  23. GLWTS - I have one of these, and they really *really* come into their own when an expression pedal is plugged into them. The range of soloing synth noises is insane (the expression pedal gives a filter sweep), and the distortion can make some really good tones if followed by some modulations.
