  2. Yeh, no good for me, not too much of a problem as I have the 5 string narrow spacing ric which is lovely to play
  3. Good point. This year I’ll have done around 80 gigs and only 5 on electric bass.
  4. A little thing to keep things moving whilst I work on another longer transcription. Mark Egan's opening solo on the tune 'April Joy' from the 1978 eponymous Pat Metheny Group record. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/april-joy-bass-intro-only-pat-metheny-group/
  5. LAM16, a nice little freebie Preamp from 'Tone Empire'. LAM16 - Tone Empire
  6. Sometimes, placement to avoid reflections off of hard surfaces ends up being more important in the bigger picture. This is especially true in large venues with hard surfaces like arenas.
  7. Just be aware that the actual radiation pattern is only loosely connected to the diameter. The calculated pattern does not include the elements that modify the pattern, things like cone shape, depth, dust cap shape, material and coupling to the bobbin.
  8. Delivery within reason possible….
  9. *PRICE INCLUDES UK POSTAGE * Wicked pedal! Tracks beautifully. Only selling as I’m now using multi-effect unit. In great condition (I may even have original box…can’t find at the moment m). Does an octave below and/or above. Also has an independent boost effect. Blurb here: Octavius tri-tone generator has 4 controls LO OCT, HIGH OCT, MASTER MIX and BOOST. LO OCT knob lets you set the volume of the lower octave signal produced by the pedal. HIGH OCT knob controls the volume of the higher octave signal produced by the pedal. The balance between the levels of these 2 knobs is what creates your particular octave-divided sound. Experiment with your mix, and you’ll be amazed at the variety of effects you’ll get. MASTER MIX knob lets you set the overall volume of your low and high octaves compared to your direct signal. Use the BOOST knob to control the output of your octave-divided sound. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.
  10. In mint condition with original tags (does not show any sign of use). Beautifully constructed and offers a lot of protection for your prized instruments! My Yamaha TRB 5P2 electric bass fits as the Gator cases come up slightly bigger than standard. Icon bass case 45” internal. I’ll update the post with pics to show. * 3rd photo is my medium scale (33”) ACG bass in the case. *Collection preferred from Aylesbury or buyer arranged courier.* Online description below:👇 The Gator ICON Series Bag for 335 Style Guitars is a multi-layered semi-rigid bag that makes it easier to safely transport your instrument around. It is constructed from weather-resistant 1000D black nylon, for its exterior, while the interior is soft lined with red micro-velvet fabric. There are also hideaway backpack straps for easy carrying that also includes a bottle opener and stowaway D-ring. You won't need to worry about losing your gear, with the exterior pop-out luggage tag, and the interior serialized bag tracker, which can be quickly registered or identified with a laser-etched QR code. It also has a removable and adjustable neck support block with a hook-and-loop wrap that increases stability during transport. As well as this it has a TSA luggage lock-friendly zipper, rubber bumpers, and padded grab handles on the front back, and side.

  11. All unused, top quality sets. Double ball ends but possibly can be used for shorter basses. 37” length. (I could use the outer strings on my standard scale bass but would rather sell as sets). * Newtone 5 string sets x 6: Diamond Bass, hex core, stainless steel, 46-130, length 37” (ball end to ball end) with tapered B. £25 each (discount for multi purchase) ( I also have a Hot Wires 5 string flat wound set…pm me)
  12. Gigged one the other day! Shame that they’re not getting as much use and love as deserved 😖
  13. I reckon about 18mm string spacing, so a little wider than a Precision 4-string neck.

  15. Yes it is.
  16. Now £350.00. This amazing emulation of the acoustic control corporation 360 preamplifier with variamp and built in fuzz is up for grabs. Hand made by the renowned JC Maillet and commissioned and imported by myself at great cost. I have used the 360+ for studio recordings, gigs, rehearsals and at home, it has never dissapointed. The preamp sounds fantastic and the fuzz section is the best I have used. I have owned this pedal for a good few years from new, as can be seen it's in pristine condition. Specially sourced UK power supply also included. Will happily run from other sources with the right leads (I used it with a trex chameleon). Fully detailed printed instruction manual also included. Only available as I have more preamplifiers than I can use. Try out/collection always welcome, or UK insured postage for £15.00

  17. I don't think the neck is roasted, it looks like an antique tinted varnish. Very nice though 🙂
  18. I will second that video. I bought a pack of medium scale shorties strings off Merton (excellent seller BTW). They are just excellent. Stainless steel aren't normally my thing and I still think they're not, but these are less grabby than others I've tried. The E string on my Mustang has never sounded better. If you like rounds, give Newtone's shorty sets a go. They're a big step up in clarity from the D'Addarios I had on it.
  19. I’ve not tried stems on MPC yet, I’d aw it and bought it for a tenner but not used it I'm about to work on a couple of jam tracks with my Mrs and want to use stems to create some backing tracks we can have fun with but going through Logic as I believe it’s really good then will try in MPC, will be a good comparison im stuck between logic and MPC at the moment, probably because autumn sees me spending more time in my studio summer was MPC in the conservatory with my old MM sterling and little TC combo
  20. Red Rubber Ball - The Cyril’s
  21. Totally agree with description about the tones from the mahogany body. Gigged with my 30th Anniversay at the weekend. Gives you the classis Stingray sound with an extra layer to the sound that other body woods don't. I would strongly recommend this bass..... as Sterling Ball did, describing it as best sounding Stingray they had made..
  22. Subdecay Echobox is an awesome delay. Used to be my absolute favourite. The modulation sounds in it are lush.
  23. These are Absolutely fantastic , units I use one as a Tubescreamer , a RAT and a Big muff , this thing gives you all the benefit of " behaving like analog pedals with blend functionality but with the flexibility of pugging the thing in and swapping the "Pedal sim " for somthing else on the menu . A huge stable of options , And even the ability to switch it from " toggle to latch" for those ... i want my Fuzz in the Chorus only moments, So much versatility for the price , bargain.
