    TWO. YEARS. When I ordered my last Sandberg like 12 years ago, the wait time was 6 months. Even back then, I thought it was ridiculous, I get they're popular, but I don't know, hire more people? Expand? But it is now TWO YEARS? Who in their right mind has the patience to wait that long? My interest for it would fizzle out after 6 months of waiting... Like, I've got a Warmoth body on order that should be here in 3 months and I've already lost patience haha...

    That's great to know - if the speaker currently in it is original there's nothing to tell me that it's an Eminence. The only distinguishing feature is the square magnet! I think I'll fit it with more modern speakers that can handle a bit more oomph, as dragging a(nother!) 2x15 around isn't going to be worth it unless it'll pump out a decent volume without dying again.

Been experimenting with different preamps and have just decided to settle on a different one so this is no longer needed.     As new, used once. Very nice bag, decent padding and support etc. carrying straps fold away when not in use. Which is nice. £75 posted or a bit cheaper if you want to collect. Cheapest I could find online was 117…

    Swap USB Cable... Some USB cables are Power Only Connections, without the Data Connections. Had similar / same issues with B1On / B1Xon

    Peavey USA Gbass 35" scale 4 string bass plays amazing looks like a Modulus but at a fraction of the cost. In my opinion, the G-bass is the most underrated bass Peavey has ever made. Professional quality, Made in USA, killer 18v electronics, Gotoh hardware,hipshot tuners. This is the later version with the composite not carbon (modulus made) earlier version but don't let that put you off these are incredible basses. Sounds and plays great will be sorry to let it go but needs must. 35" scale 1.5" nut 3 band EQ. 18v electronics Roughly 3.7kg Sparkle finish Great condition gig bag Any questions feel free to ask

    They were pretty good bass reflex cabs. Not folded horns as they claimed, but bass reflex with tapered ports, a seat of the pants design, as there was no folded horn or bass reflex design software then and the designers, Norm (of The Kingsmen) and Conrad Sundholm weren't trained in speaker design. The drivers were Eminence rather than the JBL they used in the earlier 200S and 2000S. Driver sizes are approximate, so it's not unusual to need to do some work on the baffle to get replacements to fit.

    Monday's rehearsal involved going through some vigorous pieces on double bass, ready for a gig a week on Monday. This resulted in some blisters, so I thought I'd take it easy at tonight's (mostly gypsy jazz) jam and play electric. My other half suggested I try her very short (23.5"?) scale 5-string, which was an interesting experience. I could manage it well enough when I knew the changes, but trying to read charts and find the right notes on a tiny instrument with an extra string was a challenge. I think I got away with it, but only just.

    Please don't expect loads of reviews yet. The first Goodwood has gone out to a customer who has promised to report back, and some beta testers have tried the cabs and will no doubt chime in when they're ready. But shipping won't start in earnest for a month or so.

    I was in a band with a guy who used to sight read drums and play with orchestras, even played for the BBC. He was a hard task master, would play challenging rhythms on the bass drum for me to play, and 'it's straight eights on the original' didn't wash. He left when it was obvious the (six-piece) band wasn't really bothered about gigging, and having already made up my mind that if he went, I would, I followed. I was flattered when he asked me to join another project, but I was way too busy.

    They're plastic cases. I've also seen the Electrovoice EKX12P which looks good and the Turbosound iQ12 which are in the same ballpark price range.

    thats where i bought my VM4 from and he gave me a great deal on it when i just phoned to ask about it. He offered to drop the price for me without me even asking. I like them. Its one of my fav shops. Love browsing it even just to see what they've already sold. Dave

    Think all but one of my basses (Yamaha BX-1) are over 8.5lbsup to high 9's. My Overwater Custom 6er fretless will probably be heavier but i'm usually sitting down when i play it. Dave

    Unlikely to help, I had one, can’t remember what I did with it but it didn’t help. In active mode just try rolling the volume back and see if that helps. This is how you’ll know if it’s an impedance issue or you’re hitting the pedal with too hot of a signal. It’s more likely the latter as Boss are buffered pedals so the input impedance isn’t as important as if it was a vintage fuzz.
