BassApprentice Posted Thursday at 10:57 Posted Thursday at 10:57 (edited) Possibly the most unnecessary experiment in guitar history, but here we are Edited Thursday at 10:58 by BassApprentice 4 6 Quote
Gizmo Posted Thursday at 11:12 Posted Thursday at 11:12 I hope Tony Iommi doesn't see this...PTSD. 1 Quote
rwillett Posted Thursday at 11:17 Posted Thursday at 11:17 (edited) I wish I hadn't seen this.... Ideas, ideas, ideas..... First time I've seen a guitarist that really, really, needs safety goggles.... Basically its an offensive weapon I could also have told him that he couldn't make it from plastic Edited Thursday at 11:31 by rwillett 1 Quote
ezbass Posted Thursday at 12:16 Posted Thursday at 12:16 Sticking it on the fridge at the end was very amusing. However, as mentioned above, totally bonkers. 1 Quote
Cato Posted Thursday at 13:43 Posted Thursday at 13:43 Not particularly practical but definitely an interesting experiment. And always with these things it doesn't seem to matter how radical the design is or how little body there is, let alone what it's made of, it still sounds like an electric guitar. 4 Quote

That's because the main component of the sound is the steel or nickel strings driving a magnetic pickup and the traditional guitar amplification. 3 Quote

Hellzero Posted Thursday at 21:58 Posted Thursday at 21:58 A new way to lose fingers efficiently... 🤦🏻😂🤪 Quote
binky_bass Posted Thursday at 23:07 Posted Thursday at 23:07 That. Is stoopid! At full tension a 6 string guitar probably has north of 180lbs of tension across the strings, not sure I'd want 180lbs of tension to crush my hand! I mean innovation is mostly always cool, but this is foolishness! Quote

Maybe some more wood surrounding that block of wood attaching to the entire frame of the body to keep it stable. You could then paint that wood in all sorts of cool colours and finishes, and use different types of wood to get different tones. 5 Quote

It's so absolutely ridiculous it almost makes sense! 2 Quote

Twigman Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Is this some kind of hybrid air guitar thing? An air guitar with substance and noise? Quote

Nonsense, it's the tonewood neck, stainless frets, and the tonemetal skeleton of the guitar body. And the toneair between the tonemagnet tailpiece and the tonemagnet "bridge". 2 Quote
