"Rip It Up" by Orange Juice references "Boredom" by The Buzzcocks not only in the lyric but also in the the guitar part that follows.
And "I Can't Help Myself" off the Rip It Up album references the Motown song of the same name:
"Just like the Four Tops/I can't help myself".

Sly & the Family Stone had a dig at Motown's copying of their psychedelic soul style in their song 'Hot Fun in the Summertime':

"I 'Cloud nine' when I want to"

referencing the Temptations song
They also referenced a number of their own song titles in Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)..

When Bowie did Starman on Top of the Pops he sang the vocal live and slipped in a reference to T.Rex's Get It On.
Which in turn referenced Chuck Berry's "Little Queenie" with the line "meanwhile, I'm still thinkin" during the fade out.

Titles by Barclay James Harvest - a song made up of B**tles song titles and some musical references.

Kid Rock - All Summer Long, a complete lift of Sweet Home Alabama.

In the outro of Dire Straits' Money for Nothing, Sting does some backing vocals, including "I want my, I want my, I want my MTV" to the melody of "Don't stand so close to me".

I never noticed that they were the same, even despite having had to sing Don't Stand So.... and the high part of Money for Nothing years ago.

Gaslight Anthem wear their Springsteen obsession right on their sleeves in High Lonesome: "At nights I wake up with the sheets soaking wet/It's a pretty good song, baby, you know the rest". Bruce gets into the act himself on Thunder Road - "Roy Orbison's singing for the lonely". The Twilight Singers song Forty Dollars borrows a few lines from All You Need Is Love and She Loves You. And Arthur Conley's Sweet Soul Music was basically a role call of soul classics

Def Leppards Rocket does it repeatedly. I can't think of any more than Jean Genie, Major Tom off the top of my head but there are loads.
Id forgotten this. Possibly the first song I heard that referenced other songs.

Take your pick from Raised on Radio by Journey:

Stagger lee, can you do the locomotion
Lucille I hear you knocking but you can't come in
Rockin' robin, c.c rider,
A rama lama ding dong
Let the good times roll
My sweet sixteen
I'm maybelline
The great pretender
Returned to sender
I wonder why fools fall in love
Yeah, louie, louie, loves drive-in movies.
Johnny angel rocks around the clock
Mister d.j. make a dedication
Cause I'm all shook up over peggy sue
I'm mister blue,
The hits keep rockin' station to station
In the midnight hour in the sea of love
My turtle dove.
When I found my thrill, on blue berry hill,
We wrote love letters in the sand.
Be bop a lu la,
She loved me tender.
Jungle lion sleeps tonight
Radio, radio
We're all raised on radio, radio
I love my radio
Radio, radio,
Radio, radio
Sting gets a writing credit on that one purely for that reason - and presumably a nice royalty too (like he needs it).
