Apparently Jens was in quite a serious ATV accident recently and badly damaged his shoulder and arm. The initial prognosis was that he wouldn't be able to continue building basses, but he has found a therapist who hopes to have him back and building within 12 months.

Yeah - they tend to be in cinema foyers :)

I think Jens Ritter is fabulously bonkers. I love the design, but not sure about the practicality of a fabric finish

I think that one is the DnB concept. Tuned A-C & independent octavers for each string built in (hence all the controls).
One for Shep maybe?

Oh, & it's a short scale.

Whilst he still has 4 perfectly good legs to eat I fail to see why I should fork out for anything else

ESP were doing this YEARS ago, the snakeskin superstrats spring to mind, and they were much better at hiding the joins.

I had one in my hands, and could only see the stitching in one or 2 places, and then they laquered the whole thing, so it wouldn't get dirty :)
