Sounds good to me. I think maybe the best way to do this is with a multitracker and some parametric EQ twiddling on a mix - I'll see what I can knock up...
Would it be possible to include some EQ advice for rigs relating to room acoustics too?

Following a chat with Nik and the S.E. Bash Bash organisers, I'm pleased to say that I'm now coming with some of our hard-to-find basses to show at the bash.

There'll be the (just arrived) £1k+ Zon Standards (which I'm personally blown away with) and maybe some Fodera NYCs. Some pre-owned basses too.

I'm all up for the charity raffle too, so here's what Bass Gear will be donating to the pile of prizes

More about the XXL Warp here

See you there!

Phil

I'm coming to play! :)

will bring my custom Shuker and possibly my Hamer Blitz or Iceni Zoot.

Can I ask for/suggest a set up master class? The idea being someone stands at the front and goes through a set up, and we all work on our own basses following the hints and tips. If as many people as possible try to bring their own tools, then lending to the odd person shouldn't be a problem.

Will there be the space to do this (an empty classroom?) and is there anyone who wants to lead the class?

Cool! be good to see you there..

I think this 'set up masterclass' idea is great and was mooted last year - any one out there who has the skills and confidence to lead it?

How loud? I have a Fender G Dec 30 I could sling in the car.

And, Alex, did you want to use my Trace Elliot rig to do the tone/eq demo? (then I can try to remember what you did on it...)

My gig is cancelled, so I'm hoping to make this. I suppose I could bring the 100W Burman Valve combo - do you think that would be loud enough?

I'd need someone to give me a hand getting it out of the car.
