2. Remember him - Dance Away had a cracking line too!
3.
This geezer does a decent job of this bass part. Not difficult but not easy either. Easier with fingers that's for sure. Like SteveK said, thumb and fingers for the dum diddy dum diddy parts is the way to go. Don't know how it was done originally though.
Looks like he's playing in his office! Probably a lawyer or a Headteacher who skins a big salary and twangs the plank all day instead!
4. Bass - great! Trainers -
5. Unfortunately, he has shipped it as described. You'd probably have to show negligence via previous correspondence agreeing to a better form of packing. I have shipped using a case but tried my best to wrap and cushion the inside around the plank.
6.
I played an MIM jazz to 8000 people in a German tennis stadium does that count?
6-0; 6-0 ...you should have used a racquet!
7. TYpe REM live into YouTube and there are tons of great vids with his P-bass Ampeg rig. Great basic sound.

9. Willie Nelson's bass player at Glasto last year was using an epiphone les paul heavy metal sig model! Epiphone Vinnie Hornsby Signature Les Paul
10. You are going to take a financial hit anyway so why not just play it?
11.
Not quite it was pretty much beaten up like that when he got it. The story I recall reading was that he was about to do a video in New York & sent someone out to buy the most beaten up bass they could get and that's what they came back with.
Sent his tech out for a video shoot (demolition man?) and he came back with the P-bass....his plan was to discard it but curiously he loved it and it became his go-to bass!
12. CD Dave......
Bored, post Christmas/January blues prompted pics
...I honestly hate you! Throw in a MM maple neck double buck and I'd give up Friday nights with Angelina Jolie for that collection!
13. Is it still fashionable to look down on Sting? I think he's great and has some great bass lines. Love his old P-bass and he still has the 2-barrel bridge whereas many would swap it out! So - big up for Gordie and his beat up bass! I'd love a shot of one - any info on how the sound?
14. 22. Enjoy it - it's meant to be fun!
23.
It went to a guitarist from the dark lands at the east of the country who wanted to start a wedding band. As with all guitarists bass must have been too hard for him. Last I saw it was for sale on Gumtree.
Thought I spotted it!
24. The Hohner's are great for rehearsals and carrying about. I gigged from 1987-190 with one and I think I only changed the strings once! If I has a spare double ton about!
