1. Professional just means you get paid for doing what you do. All the talent in the world means very little if nobody really wants to listen to you. I remember really looking forward to seeing Stevie Vai and my mind wandering after a few songs is they were not 'tunes'. Serving the song is always better than pleasing your own musical self.
 2.
yes sir you are right, good night all im off to some toilet venue to watch my mates perform
Tell us more........ ....ps - I'd give it about a day before I'm proved a hypocrite slagging someone! eg - Did not like friendly fire but wondered if it was a Basschatter playing as there was a Peavey T40 bass on show.
 3. Musical taste is so personal that I try my best not to comment on other peoples as it makes you look like a slevvery, rabid twit!
 4. Young boy from Paisley on just now!! His mum and dad have a good chippy too! Nice white Gretsch bass too!
 5. I'd let my original 62 jazz bass, 57 P bass, steinberger and steinberger cello e-bass burn. And I'm not just saying this for the future insurance claim...............
 6.

Sheer class!
 7. I'm a big fan of the Edge and I thought they played safe but Bono himself said it was the 1st time in about 25 years they had not been playing to 'their audience.' Looks like they did do a 'greatest hits' set but in the context of a festival, I thought it was spot on. Now Adam, if you are looking in and you have a spare CS bass........
 8. When I was younger, I envied his burds! Now I'm older, I envy his basses! What does that say about both of us!
 9.
BB414, obscene value for money, Orange ones look the part too
Agreed - P have the black pearlescent 414 with matching headstock. Great black strings and a growling sound. I would love an orange one though!
 10. Aye - Adam is winning the gratuitous bass change award on the first day! Love his purple custom shop P-bass though!
 11.
It's a Shergold
Sheer class playing a shergold - Solomon Walker - a Fender Artist!!!!!!
 12.
All I've seen is a fretless 48 string
BRilliant - Wilson or Fender! Wait - what's Morrissey's bass player playing? Maple Wal? Shergold? What is it? BBC3 (or 4) just now!
 13.
Halfway through a fab dance which had 60 couples barging and swerving their way left and right over huge dance floor I took a step back from the mic, stood on a harmonica that had fallen off my stack, lost my balance and crashed back into my top cab, knocking my percussion box off the top .. The stack stayed up as I tie everything together with a strap Anyway I slid sideways off the stack and tripped on a stage floor light and 'urtled side ways off the stage... Fortunately it was a relatively low one and I landed on my feet. Being wireless I didn't then pull my stack on top of myself but I did stop playing for 8 bars No one noticed except my drummer who was showered with the contents of my percussion box .. Phew, I thought, and then sprained my ankle later doing something very innocuous .. Fun night.
Failed stage dive...get over it!
 14. Been doing, 'Doncha worry bout a thing' by Stevie Wonder recently! Great stuff - in fact , learn I Wish and Sir Duke while you're at it!

 17.
My first gigging bass amp in 79-81 was one of these matched with an ex sound system 1x18 cab Loved the sound at the time.
Sold one a few months ago. Sat in my garage for about 20 years and when I plugged it in, still great. Guy from Springburn got it for about £40 as a back up!
 18. Great looking bass. Think the colour scheme is stunning.
