1. Mmm. Very tasty. Might be worth saying where you are for those on mobile devices.
2.
Let me be the first to ask: "What's the weight?" Ooooh, me poor back!
I used to have one and it was incredibly light. So much to so that I queried it with the supplier and started av thread about it here. Sold it on later. Ok for the money.
3.
That's nothing to do with loud lower frequencies... just a sh1t soundman behind the desk!
Indeed. But the loud bass drum was threatening to rearrange my insides. My son who is a drummer says he hears about this problem a lot too.
4. I was at Silverstone this weekend. At the campsite the bands in the big top had loud bass drum and bass. The vocals were fine. The guitars were lost for the most part until the sound guy realised you need to hear their solos and slightly raised the volume. Overall it was quite annoying.
5. Hang on to a log that's in trouble. Are you mad? Can we trust it to support us safely?
6. I have played Guy Pratt's Betsy Jazz bass briefly at Mansons guitar show some year back. Got him to autograph his book I bought there. Not that obscure but I enjoyed it.
7.
Having our singer rephrase Robert Palmer's "Addicted to love" as "Addicted to muff" became a little tedious (and more than mildly embarrassing) after a while.
Glad it's not us then. We get the F Word as the substitute in one song and Mother F****** in another when the originals are nothing like that. Ho hum.
8. Ours like to swap certain lyrics for swearwords. Funny the first few times, years later the novelty has worn off.
9. Simple diagram thanks. Great to be reminded of the theory.
10. If you are up for it then simplify the set list abd baselines. Keep it simple and tight. Let us know what happens
11. Ours keeps asking the audience to sing along if they know the words. Years ago we videoed our band featuring a young female singer who between every song tells the audience to get up and dance. Didn't notice it at the time but it was a cringe watching it back we folded very soon after.
12. I do. My excuse is that i'm stretching them in!

I have Ublock too but I doesn't stop this. If you can clear it from your screen or page then don't worry too much. It doesn't seem to be a real threat just a scam?
14. Got my custom molded Elacin with ER15 inserts (not ACS as I previously thought). Gigged last night and am very impressed with them. Great clarity compared to the Flare isolate. I can hear everything fine whereas I couldn't hear the guitar with the Flare isolate before which was bugging me. Really comfortable and you can have a conversation ok too.
15. Only a problem if the log has bumped into something or someone?
16.
Speak for yourself I'm still Class-D'ing it, and still perfectly happy. And most importantly, my back loves me.
Me too. Had a series 6 AH200 for years and loved it. Now got a TC Classic 450 and love it. No heft problems and it easily keeps up volume wise in my band. Happy days.
17. Isn't that just scored through?
18. Pick up my custom molded ones next week with choice of ACS inserts. Looking forward to checking them out. Got Flare Audio Isolates at present so keen to hear what the difference is.

Got it again the other day. Pressed enter and closed the tab. Annoying but harmless.
20. Glad you like it. I bought one about s year ago as my back up to my EBMM Stingray. I like it. I generally set the 2 band eq fairly flat and boost a little to suit. The output isn't too hot then and still sounds great. Great for a bit of slap on the side too. Must get some new strings to bring it back to its best.
21. Sadly they do. Also, after stating they will pay your price they then ask for your final price! The awful English always makes me smile.
22. I got this on Gumtree. Just tell them cash on collection and they will disappear.
23. Glastonbury 1986. Hopped over the hedge. Saw Lloyd Cole, The Cure, Madness, Level 42. Can't remember much else
24. I'd like to be the first to remind everyone of Blue and his invisible bear!
25.
I really loved the first four or five albums by the Foos but since then I feel they have become a bit too formulaic and safe. They are brilliant at creating very catchy pop songs in a rock vein but for me that's about as far as it goes these days. I only saw them once, quite a few years ago when they did the Hyde Park thing and it was an amazing show but that was before I had started to loose interest. A mate saw them last year (or was it the year before) when they toured. He still really likes them but said that after they had played for two hours or maybe more he was starting to get really bored and was ready for it to end. I was lucky enough to see Dave Grohl playing drums with Them Crooked Vultures and that to me was a real highlight. I really rate him as a performing and recording drummer and would happilly pay to see him drumming at any opportunity.
+1. Hyde Park Was a great gig. Was there too and bought the DVD. saw TCV at Plymouth pavilions and spent most of the gig up close watching Dave Grohl on drums which was fantastic.
