The M2000 is a monster, but the L is worth looking at too, I played both and left with the L

Low budget Yammies. Every one of them bats out of its league.

Nothing wrong with Basswood. Well, apart from being flammable, buts that's inherently true of most woods (IME).

I like the look of the Schecter Ultra VI too.

I like it. It's a bit quirky.

White pickguards Wooden pickup covers More than 5 knobs Ultra slim necks Coffee table tops 6+ strings Ugly headstocks (alleva coppolo) I'm sure there's more. *edit* blue/green bursts

As a recent Maruszczyk buyer I can only recommend it. My Jake is pretty good

I bet it balances better too, infact my only slight gripe is that the controls are all in a line and the jack is on the side of the body. I much prefer the old school gibson look. But thats a drop in the ocean on what is otherwise a beautiful instrument. Having said that I'd still probably go for a PT4, because neither shape loos like it would be more comfortable than a P bass

Mirror ball bass. I love it!

I think it's cool that it's retained the S2 horns. And it's no where near as daft as the B1 buzzard
