    WD music is usually a good shout for custom pickguards.

    Speed music in Cardiff had an Overwater original (T-bird kinda shape) for £500 in the early 2000's. Really wish I'd bought that.

    Hi Joel, Lovely looking bass, The SRX 750 is a 2008 only model, I think it's basically the same as the SRX700 series but with the nice figured wood top. While there aren't many around, and prices are notoriously difficult to quantify, I wouldn't imagine it would go for more than £500.

    I'd agree with this too. They feel much smaller and more comfortable than Fenders, but without looking a million miles away.

    That looks great to me. As long as she's big enough to play a 34" bass and likes the aesthetic it'll be a great beginner instrument.

    Another vote for cool. There's something about a P/J with a pointy headstock. Kramer forum, ESP Horizon, whatever the Jackson/Charvel ones were called. All chefs kiss classics.

    P/Jazzbucker is a great pickup configuration in my opinion. I have it in my Maruszsczyk and it sings. I imagine two of them is the sonic equivalent of a sledge hammer?
