1.
Hey guys, been off site for ages. So I've got thirty odd pages of this thread to go through. Looking forward to seeing what sort of basses you guys have got from Adrian! I'm planning another one from him, as I've been saving for about seven odd months. My band folded and now the money I have that was going to recording is now going to another bass. I'm wanting another Jake for sure, with a MM/Split P combination and a Sea Foam green colour scheme. However I can't find many basses with a reversed headstock that's a P style. Didn't someone in here get one of those from Adrian? (Seabasskid?) What did it look like and how much was it added onto the price? Looking at going no pick guard for this one too. Bit of a departure from my usual solid colour/chrome guard but I wanted a change.
Hey buddy, it was me that got the reverse headstock Jake. I added it about 3 weeks into the build, luckily it wasn't a problem. It didn't add anything to the price though. I think the only part that knocked the price up slightly was the ebony board. Here's the pic
2. Without sounding like a knob have you tried simply playing it more? I had a similar problem with my old grabber bass, it was made worse by the slightly different scale length to my other bass which at the time was a fender jazz. I didn't really want to modify it either. I found that by grinning and baring it for a while I got used to it. My muscle memory improved and after a couple of gigs on dark stages and a few extra hours of practice with it the problem faded.
3. This is lovely. so jealous of your collection .
4. That looks loads better than their stock photo. I still think Pelham blue would have been better.
5. Mine was within a week, paid Friday arrived Wednesday

7. If only I could justify it. I've fancied the squier bass VI since they came out.
8. So much yes! Congrats mate.
9. Noice! This is as good a P-bass as you'll get for £500
10. Wow. What a lovely looking bass. The lower horn reminds me of the BC Rich Mockingbird, something I've always had GAS for.
11.
Very nice! What's custom about the build? Compared to their stock 'Human Nature' builds. Si
Love this. The black hardware really sets it off.
12. Any trades?
13. These are great basses! I nearly bought a mystic once, but something put me off last minute. I love the look of them. They remind me of the S.D. Curlee basses from back in the day
14.
Black for me
I think black too. It looks nice against the finger board. If it was maple the pearl one would look lovely,
15.
Speaking of which ... INCOMING!
mirror ball bass! I love it. very disco Stu
16.
Nor me cocco, but it's time for some consolidation, and this is simply an ornament in my house now (albeit a very lovely ornament), never gets played... If I'm honest though, I won't really be gutted if it doesn't sell..but don't tell anyone.. I'm kinda torn between selling this or my 2012 sunburst Roadworn P..
Do you still have the attitude?
17. Sh*t this is tempting. Year of birth and packing super ferrite.
18. Mine hasn't missed a beat since I got it to be honest. It came with super low action and too light of a gauge string for me but they are drops in the ocean when considering how good it sounds, feels and plays. I'd order another one in a heart beat. I've seen a Jake with T-bird pickups that looks pretty dangerous
