  1. only ever had a TU -3, does the job well, never let me down.
  2. Citroen Berlingo, the most unsexy car ever..however it can fit 4 x 15" active tops, 1 x 18" active monitor, 1 x marbass combo, 1 x marshall combo, 2 x large boxes of leads, 1 x large box of lights, 3 guitar cases and 5 mic/tops stands (ok the back seats are down).
  3. i want the brown M & M's removed from all my riders. And free lubes of anusol on the guest list.
  4. Yeah that would be good to know, although I've just ordered one, can't really go wrong for 20 quid!
  5. Very sad IMO, Phil really should not be doing this, it's his choice obviously but he looks a poorly man https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/entertainment-arts-58508715
  6. Our Lot last week doing a bit of Zep, including skin beaters cockup thinking we were finishing early, drummers and timing eh?
  7. sounds great to me, Paul really shines through..
  8. doesn't matter whether gear works or not, I still end up looking a berk!
  9. it might be worth splashing out a paltry £20 and getting one of these , they come in handy in loads of situations anyway (amp failure during a gig for example). It will also boost your passive signal. https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Behringer-BDI21-V-TONE-BASS-/art-GIT0007406-000?campaign=GShopping/GB&ProgramUUID=5G_AqJarZwoAAAFl0FZyjI8V&gclid=CjwKCAjw64eJBhAGEiwABr9o2BUwkzk5BLaz_DpkbPpUm1DWN3MRd8oJPMqtD1ufg5SvUbklyTIGJhoC_MsQAvD_BwE
  10. I'm not surprised at all, your band is fookin' brilliant!
  11. Custom Lynx for all my cables, patch leads, mic xlr's etc. Great service and very very reasonable. They do all the usual Neutrik, van damme stuff but their own brand gear is brilliant value and really reliable https://custom-lynx.co.uk/
  12. Us lot performing "Blues Deluxe" at a lovely little club weekend/rally. I jokingly demanded M&M's as a rider, that along with beer, wine and cash up front duly provided! What a lovely lot of people. Video from 2 zoom Q2N recorders and a decent phone for drum cam. Those zoom recorders record great audio but boy do they suck for video. Next time I'm using a couple of cheap 4K action cams for video and using the zooms for audio. Having 2 zooms left and right and front of the PA speakers seems to work well as I can blend the audio signal and render as a master WAV audio file before adding the (muted ) video cameras x 3 Audio and video edited in Reaper with a little mastering with some free plugin alliance vst's.
  13. Guess we've been lucky then, 100W valve Marshall, 300W D class Markbass Combo, 4 x 400W RCF 15"s, 1 x 800W Mackie 18" sub, numerous lights, moving heads, smoke machine. Not a happy bunny when it's all we're offered TBH, but as I said so far we've been lucky. Does running off several wall sockets help? I mean aren't they all connected to the same ring?
  14. Hey Phil, is it true that so long as you don't turn everything on at the same time, ie all the PA and amps, lights etc, one socket is usually ok to run everything off with extension leads? Quite often the pubs only have one available lead especially if we're playing outside, so far we've had no issues.
  15. This looks great. Any reason why it's cheaper than the helix stomp by about £70?
  16. Yep I'm thinking that's what I'll do, who knows where it'll all end up? I'm not the arguing kind. I suppose our audience will tell us whether it's any good or not. I'm just nervous that it creeps into the set more and more.
  17. So my Pub Band did an album of original material last year and some of it is ok (IMO) We play 3 of the songs from said album in the set, one goes down well, the other 2 are "politely" received. I'm getting a vibe from one or 2 other band members that they would like to continue further down this path and perhaps don't quite see how our punters react as well as I do. I'm not a fan of "pub" bands playing their own material, I think the punters like to hear stuff they know. I'm trying to diplomatically suggest keeping the originals to the festival circuit (I'm talking village festivals here!) and only really having 2 max of our better tunes in the set and working on more covers to keep the set fresh. But still I'm getting a feeling of Mission Creep, that the writers of said material are really enjoying the process (and I get that) but it's not really helpful to what we are and have been for the last 10 years. We have a new member who has really raised our game ( a great singer) and it's really brought the band up another level (again IMO). Maybe I'm afraid of change? If it wasn't for the singer, the Album would never have happened and there's talk of another one in the pipeline but our bread and butter is The Dog n Duck circuit and I'm nervous of spoiling that. Has anyone else had a conflict between what works well every week and the ambitions of other (possibly more ambitious) band members?
  18. same, nothing until June, now pretty busy till Christmas.
  19. so did the Tascam give you multi stems to play with in Reaper?
