  1. sounded great, Handbox? Especially enjoyed the little funk interlude around the 2:30 mark!
  2. if anyone wants to give their speakers/system a workout this YouTube channel is pretty good..
  3. it is and not too difficult, just slightly tricky timing.
  4. Got to learn Ramble On for next week. Bitchn' runs as per the course with Mr JPJ.....
  5. not usually, there's 2 or 3 sockets in the walls, although we have done that on a couple of occasions with no problem. nothing gets switched on all at once!
  6. I opted for a few 5 meter 6 way extension leads in black and put them around the band in a sort of ring so there's plenty of power sockets all around us for pedal boards, lights, PA and amps. So far so good, no blow outs yet and that's after quite a few gigs in dodgy pubs.
  7. Gogo Penguin. The only gig I've been to where I fell asleep standing up....
  8. I've been gigging with a Markbass CMD 121 this year and it's fantastic. Loud, punchy and light. 16kg Worth a look ( and I was using an Ampeg SVT-CL previously) http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/cmd-121h/
  9. had a look, couldn't see it. Do you have a link? Thanks.
  10. Yeah custom lynx are great and very well priced, all our xlr and gtr leads are made by these guys, no problems, lots of gigs https://custom-lynx.co.uk/
  11. it has some great custom presets from a load of famous producers I've never heard of, but they sound great
  12. I was about to suggest The Waves SSL EV2 plugin for $39 but then I see you're using the SSL Interface. I'm also using reaper with The Audient iD4, this with the Waves SSL EV plugin gives some wonderful tones. Might we worth downloading the Demo to try?
  13. As per the title. Is anyone having success with this setup? I've looked around t'internet with no real luck. Currently using a jamMan looper to trigger backing tracks but it's a bit of a faff to change key (and not instantaneous) I don't really want to lug a laptop to gigs, would rather use my phone or iPad, garageband would be perfect if it could work.
  14. got my lad one of these, only paid around £90, he loves it. Apparently it comes with loads of decent synths. I got this one as it has better quality keys, most in the price range are a bit rubbish but these are more solid. https://www.arturia.com/products/hybrid-synths/minilab-mkii/overview
  15. those Pearl pedals now fetch a good price. https://reverb.com/uk/p/pearl-ch-02
  16. isn't the Boss TU3 also an active buffer? I heard somewhere all boss pedals are buffers?
  17. claim to "fame", stagedived at a rockbitch gig in Brighton, crowd parted like the red sea and I fell flat on me face!
