1. Just sold Al a Boss RC2. Great to deal with, instant payment and he told me when it had arrived safe and sound. Top man.
 2. Just bought Chris's ACG PJ. Great to deal with and a fantastic bass. I would have no hesitation in dealing with him again.
 3.
spotted this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/overwater-aspiration...=item2311609169 ive always liked overwater stuff but no way could i afford one! are these tanglwood licensed ones any good?? whats the difference between the 'proper' ones and these? woods? electrics?
There is a massive thread on these Tanglewaters in the Bass Guitars section. Chris May brought them up to the last ACG BassBash in Moffat. They are fantastic instruments and they are not just a licencing deal, Chris went over to the factory to oversee the initial production run.
 4.
I also bought an RC4 controller from them, which was less of a bargain, and which was sent this morning so I can't report on that yet.
Really cannot see the point of having an RH450, (or 750 ), without the floor pedal.
 5.
Tecamp's 112 combo secondhand, if you can find one, probably fits the bill pretty well. It's a clean combo and compact as well.
Or a TecAmp 210 Combo. As clean as a clean thing on clean day and very loud. Want to buy one?
 6.
G' morning everyone. I've checked the posts and some of my own PM's. It looks like YouMa and BassBunny are the current holders of the two of the copies. As I'm on the list after BassBunny and there seem to 3 copies circulating, can someone make me an offer. Thanks. Balcro
I haven't got a copy and no-one ha been in touch for my address.
 7. Nice bunch of guys Mezzoforte. We do a couple of their numbers and I was struggling to nail the bass line on one. I got in touch via their website and they sent the transcriptions.
 8.
never really heard them before, are they any good? ta
They used to be Zoot Cabs and are made by Iceni/Zoot who also make Zoot Basses. I have a pair of Zoot 112's for about 3 years now and am delighted with them. They have just had a re-design to make them more "boutique" looking and the drivers are now Eminence rather than Celestion. They are hand-built and the build quality is fantastic. I believe Bass Gear have exclusive rioghts to the first 6 months worth of the new range. At the end of the day, if they sound good to you, they are great, if not, they aren't.
 9.
Where are you? Interested in one of the cases if it's not too much of a schlep...
Interested in the other if you would bubble wrap and I'll sort collection. Pics would be good.
 10. Give Dave Marks a shout on here or via his web-site. He has done a load of Vids for Frudua and had one of their 5er's at last years Bass Day. Sure he would be happy to talk about them.
 11.
Damn, shouldn't have looked at that site. The white 5er looks a beaut, shade under £690 then add taxes I spose.
No Taxes, they are an Italian company.
 12. From a fellow Mancunians point of view I agree with Crez, "All of the Above" There definately isn't as much Wedding/Corporate work landing on our laps and we have had to go out and fight to get it. We have our own PA and Lights. Would love a permanent Sound Engineer. We do a few Pub gigs during the year as it is ideal for letting perspective clients see you. Let's face it if you were organising a wedding/event you would want to see what you are hiring. We are on a number of Agents books, but it hurts passing over the commission for what amounts to making a phone call and they don't have as mant clubs to put you in as they used to. We are very fortunate in my wife having a long career in Advertising and she does all our selling. Up until recently we have had a lot of success with Good Party. It's free to join and submit a profile. anyone wanting a band/dj/caterer etc. puts a posting up with their requirements and you pay for the contact info, (around £3 for a gig with £250 - £1000 budget). Recently it has been choked up with timewasters. It's free to put a request up but the clients don't know you have to pay to get in touch. This results in a lot of "I was just seeing what was out there comments" Might be worth a try and shove a few quid in the account and see what happens. Something else that works for us is a close relationship with another couple of local function bands. If anyone gets offered a Gig they can't do, they will suggest one of the other bands in the "club". It is also fantastic if there is a last minute problam and you need a Gig covering at short notice. Fortunately we have never had to be "bailed out", but have done quite a few last-minute gigs for other bands. PM me your contact details if you fancy talking about an arrangement like this. Stuart
 13.
Ad had one of those once! possible the best value instrument ever!
Agreed. If it was a 5-er it would be heading my way.
 14. +1 for MiDi tracks. Easy to "tweak" and dead easy to remove the parts you don't want. You can get virtually any MiDi track for free on t'internet. Obviously need a MiDi player. If MP3's are your choice, one of the sax players also does solo work and gets her MP3 tracks from here. Completely customisable and fantastic quality. 15. TecAmp Puma Combo?
 16.
I'm on the lookout for a (preferably lightweight) 1x12 quality combo as possibly trade with cash your way.
2x10 TecAmp Puma Combo?
 17.
Oh and btw I now also know the name of his band, his mobile number and the names of the venues for his next gigs!
Roadtrip
 18. He was using it on last weeks Webcast and it sounded sweet.
 19.
Looks great. Construction looks VERY Lakland, so maybe made in the same factory? May i ask how much?
It is indeed. Cort make for Lakland, G&L, Ibanez, Fender and I wouldn't mind betting they make the new Sterling range. Best value for money on the market without a doubt. Amazing build quality and they can take all the best ideas from the companies they build for.

 22.
Yep - I think all will be well in Dingly Dell.
Until you lust after something else.
