Erm, yes, me, as per post number 6 on this thread...

Yes saw that, just wondering if anybody else has tried it.
I have sold loads, I regret selling my Nate Mendel the most, used in my one and an only gig. Lovely comfortable bass to play. I bought the squier 70's p bass to try and get a budget Nate Mendel.
Has anybody else gone hands-on with the B-Social?
I am interested in a practice combo like this if all pieces of functionality are good at what they are supposed to do.

As good as two three inch speakers can be for bass response. It does a passing overdrive as well.. Which is intentional.

Thanks for the response, agree about the size issue. For a home low-volume practice amp, its very difficult to get the right mix of small footprint and decent tone.

Had a chance to try one of these. They are as good as the guitar version. Not quite as loud, but for home /jam use it's good.

How good is it, decent bass tone?
Good news, all fixed.
Took it to a local guy Monday lunchtime and it was ready by early evening.
He rebuilt the existing switch as they are apparently good quality. Very pleased.
Pleased I put this thread up, otherwise I would have sent the bass back, thanks for your help
Thanks for the reply Dad, now off to a Mother's Day gathering, radio silence for the next few hours!
Have attached some pictures to give some context.
Just wondering if it's viable to fix it, don't think I could reliably fix this myself!
Thanks
Mike
