1. Have Rickenbacker put a stop to the Harley Benton RB-414CS bass? No longer for sale: http://www.thomann.d...on_rb_414cs.htm
2. I had the combo really enjoyed it, but for me it was too loud for home practice use, no headphone out, and a little underpowered to gig with.
3. I like the purple. What made you pre-order, taking a punt or have you had some experience with them?
4. Thanks for the posts, all points raised were a concern, ten year old tech, possibly inferior effects etc. I just wondered if I could find a valid use for it, sucker for a sale :-)
5. Thanks very much for the info, looks like I could use this as a midi audio interface using a midi to usb lead. Cheap enough just for that.
6. I see DV247 have the VAMP pro available for £69, tempted by this, but is it any good? I have had mixed reviews, some say the amp simulation is good but the effects are rubbish. I know Behringer has a bad rep for reliability and quality but if anybody has had any hands on experience, what did you think?
7. Does the rumble 500 need the extra cab to put out the full 500w?
8. I have one of the Harley Benton RB-414CS's, only using mine at home. How does it work live in a band context, cutting through, sounding good? I imagine the weight must be a godsend when gigging.
9. I didn't think I would be selling this, but recently got hold of a Squire 70's Precision bass which I love and it has converted me toward thicker necks, any one who knows the SR Ibanez range knows that these basses have super slender fast necks. This bass was born in 2014, and therefore has the recent addition of the mid frequency switch, which allied to the 3 band EQ section and the Bartolini pickups offers great tonal flexibility. This is a great bass, had home use only I have owned it from new. Selling the bass with a strap and a new boxed Hercules guitar hanger, cutting down on basses so do not need the storage options. £275 delivered.
10. I ended up going for the Squier 70's P bass, not exactly a YOB bass, but right decade at least. I haven't got it yet, just used it long enough to decide I want it. As its a present from my wife and sons I would like to get a suitable replacement neck plate, get that engraved with a birthday message and swap over for the current one. Anybody recommend a stockist for appropriate replacement plate?
11. KP bought my Ibanez fretless, again very easy to deal with, paid quickly and always kept me updated. Thanks
12. Al bought a bridge/pickup cover set from me. Very quick payment, very easy to deal with. Thanks
13. Jack purchased my Zoom B3, very easy transaction, money was paid quick and Jack was very good with comms. and letting me know that the B3 had arrived safely. More than happy to deal with Jack again.
14. £425 delivered until the item I am funding with this sale goes.
15. Selling a Fender Brand Ashtray and pickup cover set. The set is in excellent condition, only installed briefly on a Squire VM Precision that I sold on here recently. Buyer didn't want the cover set. http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 As I said its in excellent condition, doesn't look like it has been used, still in original packaging, carefully removed one staple from packaging to let me get the contents out. I purchased it from StringsDirect for £29.99, looking to sell for £19.99 including delivery.
