1.
My old bass! Bummer you're selling this on so soon. I can vouch for it as a great little instrument - very comfortable to play, nicely set up and a hell of a lot of bass for the money. Only sold it (along with a few other bits) cos I have rather too many guitars and far too many bills to pay! GLWTS - whoever buys this will have a good bass coming their way....
Thanks, they sure will, lovely bass.
2. I am selling this SB310 (that I have now owned twice!) as I am thinning out the collection, this is one of three that I am selling. This is a fine example of an SB310, having sold it to bassbiscuits previously l bought it back earlier this year. It was a purchase made through emotion rather than necessity and it has been barely used since I bought it back. Its in good condition, Gotoh machine heads, 24-fret slim thin, jazz like neck. Translucent red finish. One noticeable chip on back of lower horn (about the size of my little finger nail, if that) Nicely set up with medium/low action and Rotosound 40-100 swingbass round wounds. [s]Price is £165 not looking for trades.[/s] Price is £150 not looking for trades. I have the packaging available to me that I can send this if required, let me know and I can sort out a price, I imagine it will be approximately £15.
3.
Another reasonably early Aussie trib was the Australian Doors, extremely precise in tracking down the correct vintage instruments and general attention to detail. Well worth seeing at the time, must have been the 90's?
Yes, definitely back in the mid 90's, really authentic from what I remember, I saw them at the UEA.
4. General Lack-of-Interest, what has he done now? I went to school with his daughter Ophelia Lack-of-Interest.
5. I bought Karl's Nate Mendel P, it was a very easy and straightforward transaction. Karl kept me fully updated throughout, bass is in excellent condition and very well packed. More than happy to deal with Karl again, thanks.
6. Adam purchased my epiphone allen woody rumblekat bass. He was very prompt with payment, very easy to keep in touch with too. I must also say that he was a gent in his understanding and patience when I incorrectly addressed the package! All got resolved in the end, great transaction, top guy. Thanks
7. I am selling my recently acquired Fender Rumble 500 Combo, this is the brand new version released earlier this year. I am only selling as expected gigs are not happening this year and this is too good (and loud) to be used at home. The new version of the Rumble range has been completely re-designed, lovely vintage silver cloth, light weight and new power section. This combo is 350w at 8ohm and 500w at 4ohm, it is very loud. There are great tone shaping options with the amp, overdrive, vintage, bright and contour options. The combo weighs in at approx 16kgs. Fender say:
The all-new Rumble Series is a mighty leap forward in the evolution of portable bass amps. Re-engineered from the ground up, new Rumble amps are lighter and louder than ever, with even more power and a classic Fender vibe. A newly developed foot-switchable overdrive circuit and versatile three-button voicing palette deliver powerful tones ideal for any gig. Additional upgrades include Eminence® drivers and premium HF compression tweeters.
This is a fine example of the combo, its as you would buy it from the shop, including the original box and packaging plus paperwork. The price is £355 including delivery, which is going to cost approx. £30!!
8. Just putting a feeler out before deciding whether or not to sell my combo. Thinking of selling my 500 combo, rushed out and bought it ( as I always do) on the promise of some live gigs, but it looks like we are destined to play rehearsal rooms which supply the back line for the foreseeable future. Its a great combo, versatile sound, but I think my current situation of needing an amp at home is better served by using the riglet rather than the rig. Sell or keep?
9. This is an as new Allen Woody Rumblekat bass, purchased from Dawsons Music a few weeks back. I still have the original Epiphone box and contents, so it really is like getting this bass as new condition. There is a lot of love for the basses and I can see why, great finish on these basses, worthy of a much higher price point bass. I am only selling because my last purchase was a Rockinbetter, anything with a smaller scale just seems wrong right now. Price is £200 delivered.
10. There is a bass for sale right here and on eBay too.
11.
yup, sale agreed it would seem!
Not yet, I have pm'd you a response.
12. This bass was born on December 2011 at the UnSung Plant in Korea, I have owned it from new, I bought it back in January. I am only selling it because I struggle to get used to basses that have the front strap button along the neck line of the bass. Stock picture here: I will get pictures of my actual bass up later today, but my bass is just like this one, its almost brand new and has only been used at home. This is the SIlverburst model, the colour is limited to 1000 pieces only, the bass has a Master Volume, Master tone and 3 position "varitone" switch which offers a fantastic range of tones through the JCB-1 Humbucker. I don't want to sell it, I love the sound, the varitone control is great and the Silverburst looks amazing, but the bass doesn't suit my alluring Harold Bishop style shape (Hello, I am Harold Bishop) Delivery for this would be £15, fully insured. More than happy for buyers to collect.
13.
What a nice looking bass
Cheers. Can't sleep bump
14. Top Still retailing for over £800. http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/p/840248017282/bass-guitars/esp/esp-ltd-phoenix-1004-black??utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=pricecomp&utm_campaign=GoogleShopping&gclid=CIy9ldahhb0CFagBwwodAF8ARQ
15.
STOPPIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it goes any lower I'll HAVE to buy it
Further reduction to £349.99
16.
I'd have nabbed this if I'd have seen it before buying the last one from GuitarGuitar. I'd seen one of these on the ESP site years ago and wanted one then but thought I'd never have the opportunity. Tried out the cheap Tokai and Epiphone thunderbird styles to see if I'd like this stype of bass and I hated everything about them. I saw this on GuitarGuitar and took a chance even after hating the Tokai and Epi versions. It was an impulse buy because the price was just too good to be true and I love the bass. The balance and learn forward isn't a problem after getting used to it in a very short amount of time. The bass is aggressive sounding and looks amazing. The only problem is fret access to the very last part of the fretboard which for most bass players wouldn't be a problem anyway and if you want this look it's just one of the things you have to accept. This is a steal. The hardware and pickups alone would cost this.
Thanks for the positive post, appreciate it
