1. Hello, I have been into my Seasick Steve phase and made it out the other side, I am selling my Bass Diddley Bow. A month or so back I was perusing the internet, reading up and listening to diddley bow's when I found this bass, BLACK BETTY..... Jeff from DirtBox has this to say about Betty... Lovely bass really well made, very satisfying to play, lovely touches on it like the original Kansas 1972 licence plate. Selling to find a powered extension cabinet for my PJB Cub. This cost me £165 delivered, selling for £100 delivered with slide. <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/b0be5a42/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
 2. I bought Pete's Pitchblack tuner, sent promptly and securely. Pete kept me informed at all stages of the transaction. Happy to be from Pete again. Thanks Mike
 3. Hello Tom, Only just caught your msg, the action at the 12th is approx 4mm (0.0157"). Thanks Mike
 4. I recently purchased the SR500, it's a great bass. Wonderful tone, great options to change tone with the EQ section. It's a great looking bass and really well made, fast neck, light body, good balance. More than happy, it's refocused my mind to bass again, bass guitar GAS has gone. This bass is what I need it to be!
 5. The SubZero Detroit bass is a semi-acoustic bass sold by Gear4Music. Its a cracking budget semi-acoustic bass, decent finish on it. Gear4Music blurb here: Retro Looks and Style The SubZero Detroit Semi Acoustic Guitar is inspired by the classic Bass designs of the 1960's, offering not only the same look and classic colours, but also the same materials and construction. With a Maple body and set in neck, along with a Maple centre block, and a Rosewood fretboard, the construction is true to the vintage models. The classic look is finished off with an adjustable bridge and vintage style trapeze tailpiece, specially designed covered humbuckers, and chrome machine heads, giving a vintage look that will really stand out on stage. Classsic Sound and Tone The SubZero Detroit is equipped with two covered humbuckers, and volume and tone controls for both pickups, giving a classic bass sound. This versatile guitar has an array of tones, with a great sustain. Flick the pickup selector switch to the neck pickup you will have a smooth, deep 60's tone, but flick the switch the other way, and you will have a precise funky pop. With the selector in the middle you can get almost everything in between. With a slim Maple neck and high quality Rosewood fretboard, this bass guitar really is a joy to play. Features/Specifications Body & Bridge:

Body: Maple
Finish: Black
Construction: Set neck
Bridge: Adjustable
Tailpiece: Trapeze
Neck & Fingerboard:

Neck: Maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Pickups & Hardware:

Pick-ups: 2 x Humbucker
Hardware: Chrome
Machine heads: Die-cast tuners
Controls: 2 x Volume, 2 x Tone, 3-way Pickup Selector
I purchased it a couple of months ago and in that time I have only used it at home, I restrung with D'Addario short scale flatwound strings (£25), probably needs medium scale as the tape overhangs the nut, however it doesn't affect playability. Only selling because I am currently more than happy with the SR500 and this doesnt get used enough. Looking for £100 delivered <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/d628939f/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/ea3c5129/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
 6. Morning, I have read many times that if you have an active cabinet, an active bass can be run straight into it without problem. In my quest to find a decent practice setup I have been looking at the PJB Cub, which I believe can be extended with a power cab. My question is, what are the characteristics required from a powered cab to be able to make both scenarios work? http://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/SubZero-450W-12-Active-ABS-Speaker-by-Gear4music/RVE Would the above be any good, do you think it could handle the bass frequencies? I play live so infrequently, that any solution needs to be small, and relatively cheap. I would rather spend a bit more on the practice setup (PJB Cub) as that will be used much more, and then extend with this. I know the PB300 is available for the cub, but thats a bit out of my league at the moment. THanks
 7. I have tried to look for this information on-line but so far I have not been able to turn anything up. Can anybody tell me the difference between the standard version and the deluxe, is it worth the extra investment, what do you get? Has anybody else noticed the price difference between retailers, up to £100 in some case?
 8. I am selling this SonicPort, its in excellent condition, complete with all cabling, paperwork and box. Only selling because my iPhone5 is "playing up" and I am thinking of moving to a non-ios phone. It functions really well to enable headphone based practice , or as an effects unit into a live rig. Tayste_2000, has an informative thread and blog relating to using the sonic port live: http://basschat.co.u...igging-bassist/ Selling for £50 delivered Product page here: http://uk.line6.com/...udio-interface/ Review Page here: http://www.musicrada...nic-port-587641 Thanks
 9. LOL! Well spotted Tom, that would have been a nice problem to have! TOLEX, I meant TOLEX, damn sausage fingers.
 10. Tom purchased my Chris Aiken bass as usual he was a top guy to deal with, payment was prompt and always on the ball with comms. He was also quick to let me know that the bass had arrived safely, always appreciated. I have dealt with Tom many times now, basses going in both directions (!), always a gent and always a pleasure to deal with. Cheers
 11. Paul purchased a Ukulele style bass from me, really easy guy to deal with, paid promptly quick response with comms. and quick to let me know that the bass had arrived safely. Thanks
 12. Looking to sell my combo, its in excellent condition, only been used in anger for 30 mins at a rehearsal, did quite well to in terms of keeping up with drums, box and guitar. Other than that I have used it lower levels at home. Only looking to sell because the lack of headphone output and aux-input is more important for me than I thought it would be. Its a great looking combo, with a 15w all valve head and a 10" inch 8ohm 100w cab. I will include a Fender branded speaker cable with the sale. Combo is in excellent condition, still got packaging, plastic cover on badge. It has lost a little of the powder coat on the facing thing edge of the amp, due to the snug fit of the head inside the cab. I also managed to put a small mark in the [s]rolex [/s]tolex when taking the pictures. Price is £375 collected, I still have the box and packaging materials so courier could be arranged at cost.

 15. I am continuing to cut down on the number of basses I own so these three floor stands are now surplus to requirements, two are the type that offer neck support and the other is an 'A' style stand. All stands are in full working order and have complete foam in place. Price is £15 delivered.
 16. I have had some offers of trades, but really only looking for a sale.
 17. I don't know, it's a cracking little bass, more DB like than the Kala's I have owned.

 19. Selling my 25" scale violin bass, these basses received a good review in BGM recently. Its in very good condition, comes with hard case and accessories. I bought it with the idea that I could use it to practice on, and it would be something for my son to use. Neither is happening at the moment. These are cracking little basses, ideal for small hands or for use as a travel bass, but at the moment it is surplus to my requirements. £165 delivered NOW £150 DELIVERED
