    I honestly don't believe - unless we think it tenable that drummers are less concerned than bassists about catching COVID (I know...!) - that caution was the issue. The Drum Show was heaving.

    That's even worse than Saturday! Looks to me as if several stands gave it up as a bad job and didn't bother to come back. That one in the far corner, which looks empty, was Tanglewood, though wtf they were doing there in the first place, I don't know.

    As hindsight begins to kick in, I'm becoming more and more angry about what is being served up this weekend in Liverpool. Thank God Bass Direct are there, tbh. Not a huge amount else.

    Just looked at the Drum Show, full range of exhibitors, absolutely packed with visitors. Strange contrast!

    One advantage is I've been able to chat to people without being rushed. Just been talking to Mark at Bass Direct. What a lovely guy, well worth supporting.

    I much prefer this body shape with Alembics - mixing a metaphor, I never could quite get my head round the back end of the body with the more distinctive type.

    Definitely! I've had a great deal of fun with it already, using my flyrig through the MB200 for experimenting with its range and tone.
