  2. I have a Mex Precision.....it is excellent and cost 500 quid.

  5. Our guitarist buys Epiphone's then upgrades them himself and he believes they equal any Gibson.
  6. The most i've spent on a bass is 500 quid, i have a couple of those. I'm not saying i wouldn't spend more but in reality i cannot justify it.

  11. I think the quality and price point of Squiers is excellent. Easily usable as working instrument with good sound and reliability.

  13. I'm not sure i have found the bass i am truly comfortable and happy with yet. My gigging go to is a Precision, i'd like to maybe just have two basses eventually.
  14. 30 years ago at a local College.....Squier Jazz bass which if i still had it would be worth a few quid nowadays.
  15. I only use my Jazz for practicing new stuff at home but my gig bass is a Precision. I have a Yamaha 424x as back up just because i wanted to try something different. The Yam is excellent btw
  16. I use a B1on + Smartphone + Sennheiser phones.
  17. Thomann do some good lighting for very reasonable prices.
  18. Learn to tap paradiddles with your fingers then gradually transfer to the strings. It imho make its easier to learn to play finger style.
  19. Paul Di'anno gave them much more of a punk edge. I like his vocals. One of my mates was a roadie for another one of his bands and said he could get very excitable after a few drinks lol
  20. Last time i saw them was on the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour.....Donington 88' and twice at Hammersmith Odeon. I haven't bought much of their stuff since really. Every song they write now is a mini rock opera.
