At least somebody eventually turned up...the fiasco is over (hopefully)

  2. Buy an Ibanez musician and thank me later
  3. Pm me as I’m going to be selling my Mocha 74 soon. This jazz is a beauty too.
  4. I think the amp I’ve enjoyed most has been the Eden WT series, the 800 & I currently own, and probably my third owned, is the WT550. For versatility I miss the Carvin BX1500 that I’ve sold on, loud, clean and just all round greatness. The Blackstar Unity 700 is also a fantastic and versatile amp. The amp I’ve probably used the most over the years is the Orange OTB and I really liked the baked in sound, despite lack of versatility (IMO). Although trusty Markbass is what I always come back to with my favourite being the Little Mark Tube, to which I currently own. A shout out to the Genzler Magdalen too…that was a beaut with fond memories. But despite the weight of my Eden WT550, that is the deal!
  5. Would consider trades against another bass, but I’m good for Jazz basses currently. Could + cash if necessary.
  6. Selling my Little Mark bass combo. Bought sometime ago off here and have barely used since then, sounds great and is super light - perfect for acoustic gigs. It has a Roqsolid cover too. £180 posted in the UK
  7. Selling my Blackstar to raise some funds towards a big holiday next year in the old USA. Bought from new last year, never gigged just light home use. I have an Markbass amp I use mainly but my Eden WT550 is my go to for gigs, however the Blackstar is up there in terms of tone. Being mostly a backup it is in top condition, complete with a top quality amp bag & Footswitch. Very versatile with multiple valve sounds, distortions, octave, chorus and amp voicing from modern, clean & vintage - all switchable with the included Footswitch. The compressor is also really good. The amp itself can go to 2.67 ohms so you can use a 4 & 8 ohm cab together, or 3 x 8ohm cabs - very loud! A really excellent and underrated amp. Mega Bargain £300 posted
  8. One soon in, so one sadly out. Nice bitsa, decent body from the UK - it’s either Ash or alder anyhow. Fender Yosemite pickups with lovely growl on the upper mids. A Sire V7 neck, honestly one of the nicest necks I’ve ever played - super smooth, rolled edges and complete with Sadowsky tuners - what’s not to like? Plays and sounds great, low action. Pickguard can be changed to white or red tort if preferred. A few minor marks from gig usage but nothing major or of concern. An accurate 9.1lb so much lighter than the Sire the neck originally came from. SOLD
  9. Selling as I have too many amps (6 in total) and I’m saving for a family trip to the states (expect to see the Blackstar amp for sale at some point but mindful someone already has one up for sale first…will even be parting with my pride & joy 74 Precision soon 😭) So the TC - Brilliant amp which I’d like to keep, particularly as the built in tuner, spectracomp compressor (via the tone print) and other FX via tone print has been brilliant, great tones to be had. 550 watts @ 4 ohms. Barely used other than living room use so excellent condition. Comes with a handy GigSkinz amp bag. SOLD
  10. You’ll have to let me know how much as it may work out cheaper than me buying new 😊
  11. Pretty sure they’re these: https://g-gotoh.com/product/fb30/?lang=en
  12. Now updated - I hadn’t realised the tuners were on the post…that was my pt 2 😂
  13. Various bits for sale, price includes UK postage. 2. Duncan design jazz pick ups - Sire covers now removed - comes with standard blank pickup covers , shortish cables £15 I Do also have some Sire V7 (mk2) pickups that sound great - £35 SOLD Rick truss cover, non original SOLD 6. Maida Vale Low Rider jazz pickups. Odd balls yet full of balls - but really great sounding pickups. They’re double coiled, so a coil underneath-you’ll need a deep route in your jazz body, that said though I had them in a Squier body. Warm, vintage sounds and the coils can be split for more tonal options. The outer insulation has come off one off of pickups but it still works perfectly, see below pic £40 8. Wilkinson tuners, just the tuners - no ferrules but I think I have screws. £22
  14. Had this neck on a parts build but have recently replaced with a maple neck which I prefer. Purchased locally I have no idea of it’s heritage-it has a few war wounds to the headstock face - looks like tuner screw holes have come through. It also has two bizarre holes, assume a string retainer of some sort. No string retainer now as used on the new neck. Was fitted to a Fender body so usual dimensions. Tuners are cheap and cheerful and function fine. Truss rod is at the heal end and turns nicely. Nut has disappeared so a new one maybe required if I cannot find it. The Fender decal was already on it and is done excellently but obviously this is only a replica. Just noticed a black pen mark the back of neck - should easily run off. £25 collected from Plymouth or £32 posted.
  15. Let me know if you want to sell the detuner - I was planning to get one at some point.
  16. Ha, great mods. I did the decal thing too as I couldn’t stand the original, but felt fearful to expose it until now. I did look at adding a tint to the neck which went a horrible orange so painfully removed most of it. I’ve since fitted a Dimarzio pickup to the neck and a Aguilar to the bridge which are better than the stock, although thought the stock weren’t too bad. I have the tone mod which is very useful. I got a dodgy tort guard from China which needed a little fettling, added a different string retainer similar to the real Sadowsky and added some not so well placed stick on blocks. It’s a bit of a rat bass now but I like it, especially as it’s under 8lbs in weight!
