Sorry, I’ve not been able to ascertain this and I am reluctant to take it apart. Talk bass suggest they have a 250ASX2 if that means anything. There are no markings, or anything in the manual to suggest the age.

I’ve no idea. How would I know? It is a PUMA 900, not a 1000.

Just received the Subway D-800 and trying it now in my lunch break. First impressions is the Mesa’s baked in sound is a lot warmer than the Puma which will probably suit the mostly ska reggae and prog material I’m doing of late. However I can get a similar tone with the Puma. On the face of it so far, I’d say the Tecamp Puma has more overall flexibility and does a better modern tone if needed, and the fan is louder on the Mesa. Never owned a Mesa until now. Found the Tecamp box and manual too.

You guys are making me have second thoughts 😂. The Mesa arrives tomorrow so will be rigorously A/B ing to see which one stays! I do love this Tecamp for sure, so powerful and great tone every time.

SOLD 😊 Amazing high quality and reliable loud amp! Only selling as I’ve just bought a Mesa that will do 2ohms, which I need. Excellent condition, 900w at 4ohms and I think 600w at 8ohms. Really does sound superb! RATM sticker removable…my attempt to be down with the kids but was told by the ‘yout’ RATM is now considered Grandad music..ahem! Comes with newish Eich amp case (Eich used to be called Tecamp). £375 or collect from Plymouth. May trade for Markbass NY151 cab or possibly MB 12” combo.

What an absolute bargain! Still got mine and refer to it as the ‘Rolls Royce’ for obvious reason that it’s just simply class. I remember A/Bing it against a MB LMT before a gig last year and the difference was night and day…the Eden had ‘heft’ (there you go I’ve said it 😳)and I gigged it with a big smile being able to really feel the bass coming out my speakers. Will be gigging mine again in a few weeks, can’t wait. I agree, one of the best amps ever made along with the Eden WT800’s.

Must be a sign of the market these days but really can’t believe this wonderful piece of Warwick history is still here at this great price. This Warwick is a league ahead of your usual Corvettes of this era. For your money you get a vintage made proline model , German made 1993 Warwick with a Streamer alike neck with a wenge fretboard and brass adjustable nut, sort after Villex pickups married to a great transparent Glockenkenlang preamp with passive option and also a lightweight bass weighing under 8lb. Not only that, it looks and plays amazingly with by far lowest buzz free action of all my basses…it really must be a sign of the times! Anyhow may take an EBS Reidmar 759, or 752 in trade but cash is king.

Reduced now to a silly bargain at only £600. May consider a trades and some cash my way (keep the wife happy!) for a class D lightweight bass amp that does 2ohms, or John East Retro deluxe.

Whats the weight on this? I remember seeing this first time around a recall it being described as lightweight. Cheers.

Thanks Mike, it was great to meet you and hope the Sandberg is serving you well. I had a little play on the Warwick after you left and began to consider withdrawing it from sale. I might get a replacement MEC pre and return to stock too. Decisions decisions 😂

It is the original Truss rod cover, just with Corvette worn off. Lovely to see my bass is classed as a Vintage Warwick on their website 😁
