Think I'm in the club now, GAS was cured within 24hrs. Got this in a local trade and a bit of cash from me. It's pretty much pristine, no doubt I will ding it very soon. It came with Chromes fitted and as much as try I find flats too sticky with my sweaty mitts. I think I may have to sand the glossy neck too.. again, too sticky. May change the tuners for ultralights as there's quite a bit of neck dive, additionally I think it's now my heaviest bass at 7.9lbs so may shave a few ounces with lighter tuners. Now strung with Bootsy Dr’s this thing has stolen the Fonk from Old Gregg for sure - digging the tone right now 🤩

I’m putting my Bitsa P‑bass up for sale as I don't really use it enough. Certainly plays great, and sounds great — I just don’t reach for it these days as I prefer jazz width necks. It's ‘The Blue One’– and now only £300 A really lovely build with quality parts through out: • EMG Geezer Butler pickups + electrics for proper vintage punch • Weight:8lbs A very tidy, great‑sounding bass with a premium Mexican Maple P neck – low action, plays well • There is a small drill hole from the neck plate that has since been repaired, barely noticeable. High mass bridge So, a bit of a bargain for weight and quality parts in them. Happy to answer questions or provide more pics. Collection Plymouth or happy to discuss postage/ couriers.

Bought a preamp kit from Tony. All went smoothly and Tony is a top gentleman, and helpful too. It’s a thumbs up 👍 from me 😊

NOW SOLD Reluctantly letting go of my beautiful Spector RST Euro bass. I never thought I’d part with this, but after months of reflection, I’ve realised I reach more often for the jazz-width neck of my Sandberg Superlight, but other than the neck, I prefer everything about the Spector! This lovely Spector RST Euro in Sienna Stain Matte was my first step into the world of ultralight basses, weighing in at only 6.5lbs. If you’ve ever struggled with back or shoulder issues, you’ll know how much of a game-changer that is and despite its featherweight build, it’s packed with quality: Aguilar pickups paired with the OB2 preamp deliver a vast palette of tones. I tried a Sadowsky pre for the passive options, but quickly returned to the OB2 – it just sings. Plays like a dream, with effortless versatility for live or studio work. The first basses I've ever had to raise the action, as it was so buzz-free low. Visually, it really is a stunner – a roasted neck, lightweight Gotoh tuners, a brass nut, MoP inlays, sleek lines, and a premium finish that oozes quality craftsmanship. Like all lighter woods, it’s picked up a few honest gigging dings, but nothing that affects playability or vibe. Bought from BassBro about a year ago for around £1,800, and it's worth every penny. Comes with the official Spector gig bag. Full Spector specifications here: https://www.spectorbass.com/product/euro-4-rst/ In reflection of the used market and the few dings, I'll sell for £1,300 – an absolute bargain for this calibre of instrument, and if it doesn't sell, I won't be too upset! I'm in Plymouth - Devon, and around the Bristol area last weekend of Nov. Happy to discuss courier options if needed, not really interested in trades other than a Markbass M58R 12" @ 8 ohm cab, or the same type M58R cab 2x10" but @ 4 ohm, plus cash my way. ....having just checked back for typos, I may change my mind about this sale 😂

I have a MB58R 12” combo, superlight and the head is removable. Very impressed with mine, covers a lot of genre territory. If wanting ultralight I can also recommend a TE Elf and a 4 ohm MB58R 2x10” pure, fabulous setup.

I’ve owned two of these over the years and agree what has been said, fantastic memories. I have a similar BF now but the Genz definitely made me smile more!

Marleys ‘Could you be loved’ always went down well. You may want to consider some modern ska reggae I.e. The Skints or Interrupters etc, perhaps a bit of Shaggy for a laugh..oh my old band used to do Israelites by Desmond Decker…folks used to sing along to that, 007 is also a good number. Always enjoyed playing UB40’s Rat in mi Kitchen. Enjoy!
