    Yeah, the weight has always been my biggest issue for me with Sire, mainly the V7 at 10.5lbs.

    Sorry the late reply - it didn't come with a wiring diagram unfortunately. I have wired as per the previous wiring and know may way around the wiring a bit. They are A pots, and whilst now sounding a little better than previous, I'm still not overly impressed. I've emailed the eBay seller - yet to hear back from them. The tone appears to be the main issue now - whilst acting more like a tone pot now there is a significant volume drop when all the way down. I know this happens to a certain extent but I've not had a P where the volume has dropped this significantly. Kicking myself for not having bought a Kiogon now 😂

    Bought a 70’s P electrics kit off eBay to replace my crackling 74 pots. Bit of an oddity on the new kit - volume tapers off super quick - bit like an on/off and the tone is like a volume - no tone change. Very weird! Any thoughts? I’ve checked all the earths etc, all seem in check.

    I guess it depends on the gig, genre but this would cover most…prefer 15”s for a bit of reggae though. Despite trying differing brands over the years I always come back to the simple Markbass Traveller 2x10”.

    Had the pleasure of supporting Mr Wardle back in the late 90’s - lovely chap, amazing bassist and the tones he had from his Ovations were immense.

    Pics to follow. Brilliant lightweight Barefaced cab which needs little introduction on here. Sadly I’ve not really had the opportunity to use it much since owning due to change in direction with band, one acoustic gig and that’s about it. This is the black grill type, 8ohm, 200 W I believe. Has the classic tolex role off where the ends have peeled a bit but could easily be re-glued, it hasn’t bothered me and is quite common I’ve since heard. Has a cab cover. £300 collected or courier at cost. May consider trade for a Markbass 2x10 8 ohm traveller cab.

    A recent new band to me is an all female USA pop art, dare i say slightly psychedelic, band called 'Warpaint', never heard of them until about 6 weeks ago and been listening to them ever since. Not sure what it is i like about them as it's not the usual stuff i'd listen to - perhaps just some well crafted tunes, nice vocals etc.

    Purely coincidence but I’d printed this earlier today and it seems to fit the bill apart from the wider end screws are about 2mm further apart. I should of taken a shot of the front which shows the peg being the ball end type, not a straight shaft of the BT2. I’ve got a BT1 on my stingray and the tuning peg is much shorter on that than the Elwood - thanks for your input guys, hugely appreciated 😊

    Just wondering if anyone would know which model Hipshot extender detuner would be used with my Maruszczyk Elwood jazz - seems to have the standard tuners from them. I’m think BT7 but not sure.
