1. Either way, that is a crazy price for that bass!
 2. Bumping up this old thread, all remaining items still available. Please feel free to send offers or trade ideas.
 3. I sold Brian a Kiogon wiring harness. Straightforward deal, would recommend.
 4. It's 9V dc -ve tip psu, but the DI favours its own AKAI psu which makes it a lot quieter.
 5. Great 1u rackmount preamp. Unbelievably fine tweakablity with this unit. It features: EQ Distortion Delay Reverb Tremolo Phaser Flanger Chorus Exciter as well as Amp sim and Rocktrons own Hush Noise suppressor. I’m a little hesitant over selling this as the Modulation and Delay effects are great. In truth though I have loads of other things I use a lot more though so off it goes. In very good condition and comes with Rocktron psu although it’s a euro plus so it’ll need an adapter. Manual here: http://www.rocktron....nder_manual.pdf These are going for crazy money on eBay and Amazon. Presumable because its discontinued? I'm asking £135 posted in the UK. pics to follow
 6. I regularly switch between: A couple of Squier P's one flats one rounds A couple of Squier J's one flats one rounds A Danelectro Longhorn with rounds and A Hofner Violin Bass with black coated flats
 7. Brilliant kit from our own Kigon, really easy to fit as it has solderless connections, full diagram and even has its own mini screw driver. I briefly fitted this to my CV jazz, but quickly realized that I only use the parallel setting so no need for this. £30 posted.
 8. Same as this: http://intl.fender.c...ckups-set-of-2/ Came out of a MIM Fender Deluxe PJ Bass, fully working order with plenty cable left. £30 posted.
 9. One for the Maiden fans: these came on a bass I bought, but they just aren't for me. They are in very good conditions with literally 5 mins play time, silks are a bit frayed, but fully functional. Cut for a Fender P bass (obviously) but have plenty of leftover for other tuner configurations. £30 new, so £10 posted?
 10. This is the older model with the flame maple top; the spec on these basses is just amazing:

BODY Swamp ash w/ exotic figured maple top
NECK Maple, 'C' Shape
NECK WIDTH 1F : 38mm / 22F : 62mm
NECK THICKNESS 1F:21mm, 12F:23mm
FINGERBOARD Rosewood, 12" Radius(305mm)
FRET 22/ Large (2.7mm)
INLAY Rectangular White Pearl
TUNER Hipshot lic.
SCALE 34" (864mm)
NUT Graphite White
BRIDGE EB12(4)
PICKUP Seymour Duncan SJB-3n & SMB4-D
CONTROL Duncan designed BEQ-3 EQ / 1vol, 1blend, 3-band, frequency selector S/W
PICKUP SWITCHING N/A
HARDWARE CR (Chrome)
UNIQUE FEATURE Layered Body Top
Neutrick Jack
Sounds like a souped up Jazz bass to me with a great neck, low action and nice playability. I'm based in Enfield N London for trials/teas. At this stage I'd rather not post as I don't have a hard case for it, but could probably be persuaded if we can figure out how. Price is £250 although very open to trades on this, hit me up with Fender or Squier things. This is in almost new condition with the original factory inspection sticker and protective film on the control cavity plate. The only things I can find are a small ding on the headstock and a slight yellowing of the neck binding. PM me for more pics
 11. Just received a REDDI from Steve. It was packaged well enough to survive a bomb blast, and arrived before the courier even realised they had it. 2nd deal I've done with him - having done the first this was no hesitation. Can only echo all the positive comments above. Deal in confidence.
 12. Bought a '51 P pickup from Richard, Easy purchase. Highly Recommended.
 13. Bought an amp bag from Alain. Really easy purchase and great comms. Highly recommended.
 14.
Not sure about the originality of the strings??
15. This seems like a bargain, and has a Fender branded case which I've never seen the like of before. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-Fender-Musicmaster-Bass-/182089705042?hash=item2a65646652:g:1YsAAOSwjwlXBQyN
 16. I also love early Meshell stuff, but from Bitter onwards it's always taken me a few goes before I settle into a new Album of hers. Now Bitter, Comfort Woman, TWHMMTMOMD, Devils Halo and Weather all feature in my top 20 for different reasons. I've also seen her live on each tour since Peace beyond passion and that always helps me to appreciate and start to understand each reinvention. Now, when she releases a new album I'm looking forward to seeing which direction she has taken. She's a remarkable artist and bassist, and from what she says on her gigs is always looking to push the boundaries and move forward.
 17. Has anyone had a chance to try both? Interested in the pros and cons really if you have - I've borrowed a couple of ONE10's and was blown away at how efficient they are and how warm they sounded. Would the single Wizzy give a similar low end? and would the mids/highs be a bit more defined? assuming I'm only using a single ONE10.
 18.
Where on earth do you find these examples? H.G. Wells would struggle finding something this impressive! Wish I had the funds. GLWTS.
That is a beaut!
 19. Just wanted to add that I never really got flats (despite having experimented with a few different sets) until I played a mates vintage P bass with some La Bellas on - Total game changer. I immediately got some 2nd hand 760M's from here and after a bit tweaking the setup of my bass they settled nicely and sound/feel great. They needed to 'break in' a bit though. I've just bought a set of 760FS for my Jazz bass and they are great straight put of the packet. Very even across the strings, not 'sticky' as flats sometimes feel and full of lovely thump tone. So, my vote goes for La Bella's - 760M for a P and 760FS on a Jazz. Oh, and 760QM quarter rounds for my Tele Bass.
 20. These look intriguing to me, anyone had any experience? https://m.thomann.de/gb/traveler_guitars_tb4p_bass_sunburst.htm?ref=mpd_aa_1
 21. I'm sure I had a Trace Elliot once that was close to 120kg, that was only a 4x10!
 22. Martin will make you try it out when you pick it up to see if it's how you want it.
