True, still £380 feels like a lot. I'll probably still get one it would be a great lightweight solution to 90% of my gigs. I'll just have to save up a little longer.

The Stingray sound on the VB-99 is excellent. I'm still not quite sold in the Jazz bass modelling, but then my hex pickup is on a Jazz so I can just use the dry signal.

The WAV appeals more because it'll freak my band mates out less and from what I can gather from YouTube will sound more traditional.

Has anyone tried one of these? I've suffered with neck/shouder/back trouble for years and am wondering if I need to get a more ergonomically designed bass to ease/reduce the problem. I'm mainly using a P bass these days, but have recently been using a Danelectro Longhorn as its lighter and less to carry on the tube. I've tried out a Hohner B2A, which I like for the size and tone, but it sits awkwardly on the strap and so exacerbates my back issues. The NS Radius Wav looks like it could cop a decent P tone, is light and small enough and seems like it could be just the ticket. Thoughts please people from owners or those that have tried one.

Mmm, yes, nothing is particularly "easy" on the 10b. The designers went for ultimate tweak-ability rather than user friendliness. That said once you get to grip with it you'll find no more capable Bass multi effects. You can use manual mode just like the 6b. TBH - the 10b is mind blowingly programmable. You can pretty much assign any parameter or effect to any foot switch. Check the manual out pg 54 http://cdn.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/GT-10B_OM.pdf

The POD x3 live pops up on eBay very frequently for decent money.

The more I think about it the more I think i like it. Seeing the character knob looks promising. XLR out and built in tuner were sadly overlooked in the guitar Flyrig, but gladly present here. This could be the answer to my live giving situation - all in one box!

I love the Squier CV's I bought the 60's P first and liked it so much I hunted down a 60's CV Jazz and a James Johnston Jazz. These three are my mainstays for all my gigs. I'm still to find a 50's CV P though to complete the collection.
