6. Never heard of this, but on closer inspection it is legit - just a very rare custom colour. Can anyone confirm? 7. Time for some spring cleaning, these pedals just don't see enough action to justify keeping them so here they are for you're delectation: [s]Earthbound Audio Supercollider BEAST[/s] [s]Some would argue the best Big Muff ever made. Built to green Russian specs and tweaked. The BEAST offers not one, but 2 oscillation loop switches creating all manner of feedback loops, noise and chaos. It works great as a standard Big Muff style fuzz too. VG condition. Boxed with insructions [/s]-[s] £125[/s] SOLD EHX Dr Q Simple one knob filter, does what it says on the tin. This is a 90's reissue of the 70's classic. VG condition with box, instructions, paper manual, EHX catalogue - [s]£35[/s] £30 [s]Zoom MS-60B The all-in-one solution for the modern bassist. You've read the reviews. Bought new, hardly used VG condition with box, manual. - £65 £60[/s] SOLD [s]EHX B9 The Hammond organ in a pedal. Recently purchased from Basschat and since getting a VB-99 redundant. As new in box. no PSU but its just a 9V DC Boss style - £90 -[/s] SOLD [s]Source Audio Soundblox 2 Multiwave Bass Distortion. Very synthy, endlessly tweakable drive / distortion. With 3 saveable presets. VG condition. No Box - £80[/s] SOLD AKAI Inteliphase From the same range as the Deep Impact and Unibass this is AKAI's version of a Phase 90. Great sounding phaser with an envelope sensitive effects level control. No box and its quite tatty but fully functional. - [s]£30[/s] £25 Catalinbread V8 Fuzz Long before Mooer came along Catalinbread produced this Big Muff in a 1590a enclosure. It has quite unbelievable amounts of level and will go into self- oscillation with the fuzz knob pushed past 12 O'clock. Good condition with box. Has a little Velcro underneath too. - [s]£75[/s] £70 All prices include postage to UK. Payment via Bank transfer or Paypal Gift please. I will entertain trades (I'm interested in BOSS pedals ATM) so please offer via PM
8.
Zoom B1on. Tuner, drum machine thing, and a looper too - 45-ish quid.
Couldn't agree more. a big +1
9. Originally the Bassman was Fenders idea of an amp for bass, sadly it was much better for guitar. The later Bassman 135 heads are considered good for bass. They have a characteristic sound, but If I was going to go valve and old school I'd play an Ampeg. As for wattage/metal thats not my department I'm afraid.
10. I think to get the oct up on the POG to be useable you need a fair bit of EQ, amp modelling, a slight bit of ambience (a short delay) and a gate. That is what I use and I can get some very good sounds with it. Just my two peneth.
11.
The SE70 is probably my favourite multi effect unit. The front-end (overdrive/distortion/fuzz, etc) is analogue and the modulation and delays are outstanding. I ended up with two of them. The SE50 is nice, but the '70 is definitely superior.
The SE-70 is a great unit. The Drives, Modulations and Synth are all really good. Boss haven't offered such a comprehensive Bass Synth since. The VF-1 also has some nice features, and some effects you don't see anywhere else. The Drives are horrible digital things, but the rest is good. Whilst were talking multis and stepping away from 1/2 racks, I've now tried almost all the Boss multi effects produced and I'm of the option that the ME-8B was probably my favourite. It was also the first 'effect' that I bought for bass in the mid-nineties.
12. I've actually had the pleasure of playing this bass and it is a fantastic instrument. If I had the cash spare I'd be spending it on this. GLWTS
13. Been a while since I've posted mine. Here is my latest effort. Bass In> HIKARI Comp> Keeley Looper-Output> TC Polytune> B1on> Radial JDI> Desk Keeley Looper-Send> Micro POG-Wet> G1on> Mooer Micro DI> Desk Micro POG-Dry> Keeley Looper Return It splits the signal at the Keeley looper with one side going to the POG (+1 Oct) and then to the G1on. The other split goes through the tuner (for muting if needed) then to the B1on. This setup gives me so many options - faux 8-string, Royal Blood style guitar, fake Hammond organ as well as a multitude of amp sims, synths and other effects. I'm on IEM's so the seperate signals go to the desk via DI boxes and are then sent back to me on an aux.
14. Get a 2nd hand DOD Octoplus, very similar circuit to the OC-2 and you'll pay peanuts for it.
15. Those pics are really small!
16. Forgive my pedantry, but isn't that an i2M? Bonus being I think it works on bass and guitar. GLWTS
17.
I used to have one of these. Miss it terribly
Nows your chance, It'll be like it was never gone
18. Good Luck!
19. This is widely considered the 'best': http://www.industrialradio.com.au/ Very expensive option though. My experience with the B2m was not a happy one. By Boss pickup i assume you mean the Roland GK-3B which won't work as a MIDI pickup as such unless coupled with a VBass unit and even then the latency is still a problem. It all depends how deep your pockets are or how much you can live with the latency. In my humble opinion if you really want to add midi to your setup your better off with either a midi controller keyboard or midi foot controller (a la Geddy Lee) You can pick up a Roland FC-200 pretty cheap 2nd hand these day and it has a 'Note' mode which could send MIDI data to an external module or software synth.
