1. Can I just Ditto the above comments……..I'll get my coat!
 2. Nice pedals! always fancied one of those Source Audio EQ's. That OC-2 is interesting too, It looks like its got post Octaver darker paint, but with the"r". I'm sure Sibob will be along soon to spill the beans. GLWTS
 3. Splendid, further picture upon its arrival please!
 4. Mines clean as a whistle on a Diago micro power and various other psu's. I would check the earthing on the basses or for any mains hum.
 5. Bought a DBX 166A compressor from Rich. Really easy deal typical of Basschat. I can but echo all of the above.
 6. Bought a TU-2 tuner from Mark. Hassle free purchase, good comms.
 7. Bought a pedal from him. Easy transaction, good comms. Hassle free purchase
 8. If you want a standard 19" rack tray the RAD-10 or RAD-50 are best, but really hard to come by. I used one of these for my Boss 1/2u rack stuff and it works fine - you'll need slightly longer screws, but it fits and is cheap: http://www.thomann.de/gb/thon_rackwanne_1he.htm?ref=prod_rel_165239_0
 9. I wouldn't bother with the plastic rack. If they are staying at home you should try to find a BMR-5: http://www.bossarea.com/other/bmr5.asp I think the Chorus, Phaser, OD and Flanger are all analogue so will sound great! They delays are most certainly digital. From what I remember the micro series had more options than the Boss compacts, but the circuits were very similar.
 10. Nice one, great collection! How do they stand up against modern effects? I've only ever used the compressor, which I like.
 11. Great basses, I paid a lot more for mine too. Bargain! GLWTS
 12.
I have used one of the Studiomaster C3X mixers for a couple of years in a similar way you're talking about - I mix my bass, vocals and a general band mix from the desk into my IEM Tx and it works very well. The IEM system has a limiter but the C3X doesn't. There is also no dedicated headphone out from the C3X so I use the headphone monitor out jack on the IEM Tx when running a wired setup or during rehearsal. I looked around for a while for a 1U mixer that had some EQ on each channel and whilst the EQ points are not bass guitar specific it does the job very well. The ability to add a bit of reverb to my vocals and control the balance of the three inputs is very handy. We don't have a digital desk and we only have two aux outs so it was the best way I could think of to get around the limitations of the desk and still have control over my IEM mix When we get around to buying a digital desk I will probably ditch the C3X but for now it works well
Great, thanks for the info. The C3 or C3X is looking like a favourite at the moment.
 13. I've been looking at this also - any good, or overkill? http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/oct03/articles/focusritett.htm
 14.
I'd be looking at a 1u rack mount mixer. Not sure that many have on-board limiters and headphone amps though so you might need a couple of additional boxes wired in (limiter pedal in an insert plus whatever headphone amp you currently use?)
Great so something like this: http://www.studiomas...rack-mixers/43/ with something like this: http://www.samsontec.../c-class/cque8/ And add a compressor/limiter
 15.
What desk are you using?
Well, it varies - At some venues they have a house desk; analogue or digital Mackies. When we bring our own kit we use a Yamaha O1V.
 16. Excellent! Now pics / sound cloud links please to prove it wasn't all just a dream.
 17. Ps: I'd also like it to have a limiter to control any spikes that might potentially damage my ears too.
 18. I'm currently running a wired IEM system using a 3 Leaf Audio Enabler as a preamp. This all works fine and is nice and portable, however I would like a more high end rack setup. What I'd like is to mix 2 signals (my bass and the aux send from our desk), have some form of EQ on board, nice high sound quality and all in a 1u rack. Does such a thing exist? Most of the studio headphone amps I've looked at are for several pairs of headphones - I only need one. None seem to have any EQ. Any assistance greatly received.
 19.
I love mine. Wish I could afford to buy this as a spare. I'd be lost without it. Best thing for me is the ability to assign any effect parameter ( or multiple ) to the expression pedal. Something you can't do with many individual FX. Victor Wooten uses these as well, nuff said.
Thanks for the kind words. To follow up it appears its so good that its already sold - not to Victor W though.
 20. Only bought this a year ago from Andertons. It’s served me very well but I’ve started using a wired system and bought some expensive moulds that work much better for my gigging needs. The system includes the body pack, transmitter, Power supply, rack ears, SE215 Earphones, spare foam eartips and the respective Shure branded bags. This is all immaculate and as new. I have only used one set of the foam eartips so there is a range of sizes unused. I will of course remove the used ones before sale. Whilst the SE215’s are as new I understand that people might want to use their own headphones or buy some new ones and so I’ll happily keep them as spares and knock £50 off the price. I’m happy to post as I have all the original packaging, manuals, warranty cards etc. Bearing mind the RRP is over £700! I’m asking just £350 for the whole kit including postage in the UK! 21. *SOLD* Great multi effects for bass in very good condition, worth owning just for the synth! It’s fully working and includes the power supply and all the original packaging. Whilst on its own it can be a bit fiddly to program, when combined with the free fxfloorboard software it a doddle: http://fxfloorboard.sourceforge.net I liked this board so much that I recently upgraded to a GT-10B and so this is now surplus to requirements. I’m asking £90 posted in the UK, or I'll knock off a tenner If you want to collect from Enfield EN1 <Pics to Follow> Boss Blurb:
8]· Professional bass multi-effects processor with COSM technology

8]· True analog bypass and 24-bit converters for uncompromised sound quality

8]· COSM Bass Amp Modeling recreates the tone of some of the greatest bass amps and speaker cabinets in history

8]· New COSM Compression effect modeled after 4 well-known compressors

8]· Ultra-intuitive interface with analog-style knobs

8]· Built-in expression and control pedals

8]· Versatile effects including "Auto Slap" and sound-on-sound looping

8]· BOSS' best synth bass sounds with incredible tracking

8]· Balanced XLR output and coaxial digital output for recording
22.
@ the OP. Have you thought of using the Akai Headrush Looper/Delay pedal in Tape Echo mode? It has four discrete outputs - one for each 'virtual' Tape Head, so you could route output 1 to the rest of your signal chain for further processing and the Mix output would then just have Tape Heads 2,3 and 4 but not 1, so could be fed into something else. The pedal has a tap tempo function as well. Here's the user manual: HTH, Ian
Sounds interesting, do you mean instead of the Freeze or alongside?
