Perfection! if I had the cash I'd buy exactly the same thing, love that bass.

That really is a fantastic job, with that kind of vision line 6 really could have done a lot better with that bass.

They all look good but the tort really does it for me, looks perfect!
The drummer will dissapear just before you go on. This is anavoidable. Don't panic, just go find him.
Cracked me up and is so damn true. At my first ever gig my nerves werent helped when our drummer pulled a vanishing act as we were due on. Found him down the road claiming he'd spotted someone who'd hassled him the previous day and gone to beat him up . OP you seem pretty well prepared, once you're through the first couple of songs the nerves will subside and you'll start having fun. Bet you'll have a great time!

There just isn't another feature that puts me off a bass as much as gold hardware. It can make even the classiest bass look tacky and cheap.

I'd never considered trying them till my last bass turned up with a set of Fender flats on and I loved them, tried the nickel rounds and really like those as well.

Absolutely love that! really is a fantastic looking bass, got any sound clips?

My first bass was a left Encore E83 Precision copy, weighs a ton and plays pretty well but the pickup was pretty poor. Still have it and I still love it despite it's many flaws, might drop a decent pickup in and bring it out of retirement!

Thanks for that! thought I'd just check out a track but ended up watching the whole show .

Damn! fretless players are a touchy bunch
Wow, that was awful, although to be fair I've never liked NIN, they're one of those bands that on paper I should love, but their songs just don't do anything for me, combine that with Trent Reznor's recent slide into public asshattery and they're a band I just don't get.
Same here, I've tried, went to see them as well but despite my efforts they leave me cold.

We certainly didn't have a bass, had several 3/4 scale acoustics which I don't think had a full set of strings between them and a knackered old drum kit. Our music lessons consisted of copying biographies of classical composers from a text book into our exercise books and occasionally having a bash at chariots of fire, one finger style on the worlds cheapest keyboards. It really was an absolute joke and I'm still pissed off about it. Though some pupils did recieve music lessons on violin and cello we were refused when we asked our music teacher, we were happy to pay the full cost ourselves but she still couldn't be bothered to arrange anything. Where ever you are Mrs Boss, you were a truly awful teacher and did absolutely nothing to inspire your pupils you *%^£!?* waste of space.
Personally I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with the amount of slagging of that we give this bloke here. I'm not in anyway defending what he does, but some basschat members are starting to act like a flock of vultures fighting over a not yet dead carcass, or a gang of playground bullies, in their eagerness to get in and give the bloke kick when he's down. Not very edifying, and In my opinion this is not basschat at it's best.
I can see where you're coming from but the man in question is making money by conniing budding musicians into believing the tat and butchery he pedals is worth their money and for that he deserves all the sh*t that can be reasonably thrown his way.

Sorry, I think I can see what you're going for but to me it just looks bad .
(I saw this band at the Hammersmith Odeon - with the future Mrs. Baggins
Wow indeed, if she's willing tp put herself through that level of trauma for you, then NEVER let her go, she's clearly a keeper!
