1. I think it's because our Vince just can't sing, which is a bit of a disadvantage if you're the singer. Personally, I think poison is the best song he's ever done. I have the same problem as mentalextra but with Meatloaf.
2. An EB3 is only an EB0 with an extra pickup. Have a look at Danelectro as well.
3. I didn't find out about it 'til it had finished. Great work though.
4. I used an old power tool case that I had laying around. That and a couple of sheets of foam and I'm good to go. It's also free so even better.
5. Never have. Perhaps that's why I'm a poor person.
6.
ive just noticed loads of spam emails from ebay recommending enrgy saving monitors thing is i only searched for them on google i dont actually recall searching for them on ebay at all although i may have clicked a google link and landed on an ebay page but even if i did it was just the once - they then grab this and bombard you with it ! PITFA
Noticed the same thing with Amazon.
7. The Barefaced 69er is a very light weight 6x10.
8. When I started playing bass in 1965, the only strings available were tape wound, flats to you and they were horrible, horrible things. Horrible sound, horrible feel, just horrible. When I tried my first set of swing bass it was a life changing revelation. I saw the light. I heard the sound that was in my head but never in my amp. My memory of flats means that I would never use them again under any circumstances. Did I use to many horribles there?
9. Have you thought about ethernet to wireless then back again. Might be worth looking into. http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/wireless-adapters/
10. Another vote for the Yamaha. Great mixer with a small footprint.
11. I'd use a 2 ft spirit level with some fine wet & dry double sided taped to it myself.

16. How about a couple of leather belts and use the buckle to adjust the length. Cut off the excess and cut a couple of strap button holes. Done it myself and it works a treat.
17. I used bass pedals to play bass when I switched to guitar, I had a twin neck at the time and this was before midi. A lot of faffing about but the results were good.
18. Tunecore for us. Gets you onto itunes and as many others as you want to pay for. You pay annually and again the price is dependant on the number of stores you have chosen. You get paid for streaming, but not a lot and more for sales of songs and you cash in when there's enough cash to make it worthwhile.
19. The OP probably just looks in the rack and there it is.
20.
I understand you can put together a nifty BFM cab, Tel...
"Tis true. I can't help myself either.
21.
New Bill Fitzmaurice 'Simplexx' Cabs I feel another cab build thread coming on...
You just can't help yourself can you.
22. Sorry, didn't realise it was a musicmaster. I remember them coming out. Cheap and nasty Fenders, only for those who just had to have a Fender at all costs but had no money. Leave well alone. They weren't any good then and they won't be any good now. More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_Musicmaster_Bass
23. I'm not a great fan of short scale basses myself but if it was me, I'd get the genuine Fender Mustang. Having heard a few, they don't sound at all bad with the original pickup.
24. Indeed, you are correct.
25. DIY is the way to go.
