1. Personally I'd place in a draw somewhere.
2. Everyone used to say that I never smiled on stage. I thought I did.
3. Only the one and I'm happy with that. How can anyone be available all the time if they're committed elsewhere.
4. Have you tried standing the 2x10 on end? It will bring the speakers closer to your ears and add to better dispersion.
5. Magic kingdom for sale / sold! Terry Brooks. First in a series, brilliant!
6. You can't beat a 3 piece in my opinion. Who needs a singer if one of you can sing. Better still if all 3 of you can sing.
7. Brilliant! Thanks.
8. I use something like this, http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbb30nt_akustikbass.htm problem solved.
9. Brilliant band. Saw then quite a few times and they always impressed. When they re-emerged as Rage they had painted all their gear pink, strange. Their singer, David Lloyd, sang on the crunchy ad in the 70s. There's more here, http://www.lewys.co.uk/Nutz.html and loads to hear here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdZ54-bDmhg&index=11&list=PL6A7F53CFB0641BEB
10. Not for much longer it seems.
11. I’m selling my Carvin B1500. I bought this new and it has performed flawlessly on every gig. Loads of EQ to play with and the drive control does a pretty good imitation of a valve amp, in my opinion. The 8x10 I’m throwing in free. Again, bought new but It’s now loaded with 8 x 300w 16ohm Eminence Gammas and is wired to 2 ohms to get the maximum out of the amp. 2400w handling. Excellent condition. 1900 watts into 2 ohms. The manual is here, https://www.carvingu...nuals/B1500.pdf Looking for £395 cash or p/x, swaps for anything interesting of similar value. I can post the amp at buyer’s expense but the cab would need to be collected or maybe it could be palletized, again at buyer’s expense. 12. We won't play in London anymore. Congestion charge, emissions charge, no where to park the van, it's not worth the hassle.
13. All you need is a 69er now and your away.
14. Entwhistle pickups are a great choice. I use them myself and they are very good at a ridiculously cheap price.
15.
I've paired it with the BF '69er (as has Bertbass) and it's a great match. Possibly the sealed cab controls the big low end, I don't know, but it sounds great
What he said.
16. I used to play a Guild Starfire in the 80s.
17. I'm sure that they wanted to ask me but Mick couldn't find my number.
18. For incredible value for money and superb performance look no further than here-: http://billfitzmaurice.com
19. Most of todays second hand gear was yesterdays must have equipment and it will sound / play as well as it did then.
20. Ah, The Cinque Ports social club in Uckfield, been there and done that. Don't want to do it again. Had to play quieter than a quiet thing in a quiet place.
21. Crack converters or Cash Generator? They sell online.
22.
You've tried it then?
Used to be 2, 13/16 spanners to get the wheels off, so I was told of course.
23.
I think it's this one http://www.lidl.co.u.../96365_01_f.jpg and folds down to this...... http://www.lidl.co.u.../96365_02_f.jpg
It is indeed that one. it's 150kg max and with a 3 year warranty.
