You're a hero - thanks for checking that out. OK, so looking at the FS-6, the centre output jack seems to sum the TRS signal in some way? That's a process that I don't quite understand, but thought I had problem solved by splitting my normally closed external tap tempo lead into a separate ring and sleeve connector (i.e. this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01KA7V9CA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) - however this either did nothing, or activated the "hold" function. I wonder if there's a way I can do this without purchasing the FS-6 or 7. This is because my external tap tempo has multiple outputs which connect to other pedals on the board too - and I'd rather keen everything on one tapped tempo to sync properly etc. Anybody know what they mean by "A+B" on the FS-6?

Morning all. Has anybody managed to get the Sequence preset on the BOSS SY-1 to align with external tap tempo? I'm using Normally Closed tap tempo foot switch but this only operates the "hold" function for this preset - making it useless live? I've also tried Normally Open, and splitting the Normally Closed into separate tip and ring inputs - only for 1) nothing to happen or 2) activate the hold function again. Any thoughts? Has anybody managed to do this? Thanks

How are people finding the sequencer on the SY-1? I cannot figure out how to make it accept external tap tempo. I have tried the correct Normally Closed (but, for thoroughness also Normally Open) external tap input - but all this does is activate the "hold" function, rather than tap the desired tempo. I am aware from ther manual that you can use the dual Boss FS-7 external tap footswitch to activate "either" the hold or tap function - but: 1) I believe this be ambiguous, as the manual also states the function of the External input is contingent on the preset selected (but fails to provide details of how these change) 2) I split my TRS cable signal into separate "tip" and "ring" leads - and this either triggers the hold function or does nothing....so how would this setup be different to using a FS-7? Is anybody getting tap tempo to work for the sequencer function? If so, how!? Without it, this thing is useless for me live. Thanks

Any love out there for the TC Electronic pipeline? Tap tempo, level control and customizable (so presumably able to be very choppy)

Hi All, Looking for some advice. I regularly switch between three basses which massively differ in output; 1) a 9V active humbucking bass, 2) a VERY hot 18V Modulus flea bass, and 3) a passive Fender Precision with flats. Some pedals on my board sound fantastic with the P bass, but need a lot of tweaking with an active bass (and these are also different to each other). The Zvex Woolly Mammoth is a good example of this, although it's true for almost all my pedals. I basically think I need a pedal similar to the GigRig's Three2one, whereby I can chose between three different inputs, and use a dedicated preamp on each input to boost/cut the signal, so there is parity between the three basses. I just wondered, is this piece of kit the answer? Surely "boosting" my P bass with that preamp would colour it's tone or turn it into an "active" bass, which would then disagree with the Woolly Mammoth? Or, I could "cut" the hot outputs of my active basses, but that might cause a loss of tone/character too? Any thoughts? Alternatively, if this sort of pedal would cure my woes, then are there others out there I should consider? I think there's a Radial product, and perhaps something from Bright Onions, but the individual preamp for each of the three bass inputs (provided that this is suitable) looks best? Any advice welcomed! Thanks
