6.
OK. But.. why not "FINEST" ?? maybe I'm being a touch over-sensitive.. but that's just me BCers!!
I'd expect a guitarist or singer one to say finest but drummers/bass players can cope with a little self deprecation can't we? I'm easily the best bass player in my band but I don't need to state it, I can just dazzle them with my drummer jokes?
7. I have one, kinda like it really...
8.
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item230f4fd170 This the bow i have. For the money you really cant get a wood bow to beat it for less then 500-600. Get it re-haired when it arrives and you'll be sorted.
Awesome, thanks buddy! I guess the next question would be what rosin would you recommend for a bowing novice, and about how much should a rehair be (roughly)?
9. there's a lack of dosh around at the mo it seems matey, neither of my f/s threads are going anywhere at the mo either...'tis a bug*er innit!

15.
My first real bow was a carbon fiber French bow from yita music on ebay. I think it was £120 and i still have it. Very good bow for the price.
Fab, thanks. I'm guessing french is easier to pick up as the tension is done by the bow rather than by your fingers as in german? Is that the main difference?
16. This question interests me too as I'm after a decent beginner bow for my nxt4. The ns designs website specifically states the fingerboard is shaped as per an acoustic upright and so is 'perfect' for bowing...I wouldn't have got one otherwise ;-)
17. lovely!
18. the only 'rule' per sé is that if your pedals are mostly 'true bypass' it's useful to either start or end with a buffered one as that helps keep the top end in your signal... apart from that, have a happy afternoon playing switcheroo with the order to find one that works for you!
19. Hiya, is it series I, II or III? Pics of your cab will help you no end here matey
20. If my ony of my blazers sells I'm still tempted...
21. Interested in any trades on the aguilar matey? Ibanez blazer bass fretted or fretless with cash my way?
