2. [s]For sale my remaining drum mics (and my broken e855 for spares/repair), I no longer play drums and my kit is permanently installed in a studio with full mic set so these mics are no longer needed...[/s] All that remains is my e855 which is for spares/repair only so any and all offers will be considered, I know the parts aren't cheap but it's a non-functional mic but someone clever might be able to fix it even (I've no idea)... 3. [S]This is for a pristine and basically unused Fender Champ all valve 5W amp. Bought by my brother a while back as he wanted to learn guitar, used once at home and then shelved again... £125 shipped in the uk (they're about £175 new) £100 collected from Sheffield. 4.
Hi I can do a P/J. The P is in the large soapbar I don't do the split cover but internally the pickup is a standard P Bass split coil. I don't do plates for the controls they are through body. The passive controls are volume/tone/4 way rotary selector. All the details can be found here. http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/graft-specification/
Alan's building a passive pj fretless 5'er for me at the mo...
 5. Awesome cab! Huge sound! !
 6.
Aren't they the ones that melt if you play them too close to stage lights?
Icarus guitars are what you're thinking of there bud? Notorious they were in the late 60's
 7. Glad it's sold, I can stop gassing for it now!
 8. New sounding nickel roundwound strings on my acg and nice thunky flats on any p-bass although there's still plenty of top end from them, it's different top end and suits different songs in the set...
 9.
Have a look at my Graft range it covers most of what you have mentioned. Alan
Bingo!
 10.
This is a bit of a weird request but could you name any bass overdrive or distortion pedals that come in a white casing? I saw a video of a bassist with an incredible overdriven sound and the only pedal he was using was white. The only pedal I can think that it could be is a Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker? Are there any others? Cheers.
mebbe post a link to the video if 'tis on 'tweb and some idea of when it appears then folks can have a gander?
 11. Lakland 55-02 with a leetle cash my way?
 12. [s]For sale is my Sennheiser e606 cab mic, it was used twice and then I stopped playing electric guitar so haven't used it since, it's in mint condition and comes with mic clip and the sennheiser pencil case bag thingy £80 incl uk shipping Not sure what else to say about it apart form it's an excellent cab mic, really natural sounding unlike the sm57 that gets used a lot...I much preferred this one![/s]
 13.
Steve is looking at my DJ4 Which i'm selling cos I want an ACG Recurve on here So if anyone has one of those to trade with Steve, that might work nicely
The Graft one (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/212128-acg-recurve-graft-active-with-luminlay-position-markers/page__p__2148348__hl__acg__fromsearch__1#entry2148348)? Lovely looking thing that! Hope it works out...
 14.
And whilst we're at it, if anyone is mulling this over, - some serious GAS (for a bass on here) means I will take a lower offer on this.
Prices are falling through the floor on here at the mo matey! There seems to be either a distinct lack of cash or an uncharacteristic lack of willingness to part with it in order to buy excellent gear at reasonable prices!
 15.
Yes i see where you are coming from, well i'm using Markbass LM Tube800 amp at the moment and thought at first it would make sense to get one of the mark bass traveler cab's but recently i have been more and more drawn to the barefaced cabs would love the opportunity to hear one before I buy
I tried the LMT800 in the gallery a while back and it was rather nice if a little mid heavy for me, that was playing through my then pair of Epi UL2-112 cabs which were a tad scooped, comparing those to a barefaced S12-T I had for a while was chalk & cheese, the S12-T was so full sounding, esp with my LMII head that the Epi cabs really did sound like toys by comparison, really visceral sound from the S12-T! I heartily recommend Barefaced kit even though I now have an EAD 212 cab which I prefer...
 16.
Yep - the string holes line up fine. I've been experimenting with through body and through bridge. I've also found I've had to move some strings over a saddle slot to get them lined up with the rear pickup pole pieces. Can't help thinking a single P pickup is a lot simpler
I can vouch for the simplicity of a single pickup my blazers are still here for you matey
 17.
IIRC the original bridge was a 3 hole as well so it required no additional drilling
That's good news at least I think they're questioning whether the holes still line up for the string through?
 18. ...switch your power supply to a daisy chained one spot / power brick / diago powerstation type thing and free up all the back row for more pedals
 19. I had one of these a few years back and it was awesome! Far too feckin loud for my needs but the most amazing sound!
 20.
Ok seems like this is a 44-01. Sucks for me but means it'll be cheaper for the buyer! Will post a new thread soon with updated price- might but some better photos on too. Will still keep an eye on this thread
Mate that's a proper bummer for you if you bought it as a 44-02! significant price difference
 21. Has anyone mentioned the wren & cuff pickle pie b yet? Superb fuzz with clean blend!!
 22. ...I am in Sheffield though which may be the tricky bit :/ Pm'd anyway
