1. [s]For sale is my Sennheiser e606 cab mic, it was used twice and then I stopped playing electric guitar so haven't used it since, it's in mint condition and comes with mic clip and the sennheiser pencil case bag thingy £80 incl uk shipping Not sure what else to say about it apart form it's an excellent cab mic, really natural sounding unlike the sm57 that gets used a lot...I much preferred this one![/s]
2.
Steve is looking at my DJ4 Which i'm selling cos I want an ACG Recurve on here So if anyone has one of those to trade with Steve, that might work nicely
The Graft one (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/212128-acg-recurve-graft-active-with-luminlay-position-markers/page__p__2148348__hl__acg__fromsearch__1#entry2148348)? Lovely looking thing that! Hope it works out...
3.
And whilst we're at it, if anyone is mulling this over, - some serious GAS (for a bass on here) means I will take a lower offer on this.
Prices are falling through the floor on here at the mo matey! There seems to be either a distinct lack of cash or an uncharacteristic lack of willingness to part with it in order to buy excellent gear at reasonable prices!
4.
Yes i see where you are coming from, well i'm using Markbass LM Tube800 amp at the moment and thought at first it would make sense to get one of the mark bass traveler cab's but recently i have been more and more drawn to the barefaced cabs would love the opportunity to hear one before I buy
I tried the LMT800 in the gallery a while back and it was rather nice if a little mid heavy for me, that was playing through my then pair of Epi UL2-112 cabs which were a tad scooped, comparing those to a barefaced S12-T I had for a while was chalk & cheese, the S12-T was so full sounding, esp with my LMII head that the Epi cabs really did sound like toys by comparison, really visceral sound from the S12-T! I heartily recommend Barefaced kit even though I now have an EAD 212 cab which I prefer...
5.
Yep - the string holes line up fine. I've been experimenting with through body and through bridge. I've also found I've had to move some strings over a saddle slot to get them lined up with the rear pickup pole pieces. Can't help thinking a single P pickup is a lot simpler
I can vouch for the simplicity of a single pickup my blazers are still here for you matey
6.
IIRC the original bridge was a 3 hole as well so it required no additional drilling
That's good news at least I think they're questioning whether the holes still line up for the string through?
7. ...switch your power supply to a daisy chained one spot / power brick / diago powerstation type thing and free up all the back row for more pedals
8. I had one of these a few years back and it was awesome! Far too feckin loud for my needs but the most amazing sound!
9.
Ok seems like this is a 44-01. Sucks for me but means it'll be cheaper for the buyer! Will post a new thread soon with updated price- might but some better photos on too. Will still keep an eye on this thread
Mate that's a proper bummer for you if you bought it as a 44-02! significant price difference
10. Has anyone mentioned the wren & cuff pickle pie b yet? Superb fuzz with clean blend!!
11. ...I am in Sheffield though which may be the tricky bit :/ Pm'd anyway
12. I have a lakland 55-02 that I'd be happy to trade with cash my way matey?
13. Simple and elegant just the way a jazz should be
14. Trade + cash my way for lakland 55-02? Or for a pair of ibanez blazers with cash my way?
15.
Its gonna be mine….all mine I say….all mine…..cant believe it…..my very own W&T. Happy Days
Congrats matey!

17. I once tried an fna jazzman, great slap sound!
18. Happy Birthday dude!
19. Stunning bass if only I had the cash bump!
20.
What is this "planning" you speak of? I bought a bass at the weekend because a) I liked it, I was in a good mood and c) the sun was shining
Like!
21.
Bump for a great little monitor.
ah Mackie, I used to use Mackie stuff a lot, lovely sounding little desks...will reinvestigate, cheers bud!
22. that looks like a superb little concept! Who did behringer copy this time? I'll suggest this idea to my band when we next look at pa, free bump for a cracking little idea!
23. Lakland strings are spot on for 35" scale even with string thru body as that's what's on my 55-02, that's also what they come with...I've a set spare if you're interested?
24.
go on, you know you want it
I'd delightedly trade it for my 2 blazers matey? No cash though I'm afraid as I've an ACG in the post to me and an ACG Graft being finished...
25. obviously second hand will get you more 'bang for your buck' as it were...you can get some seriously nice basses for that cash... Some Of Alan's custom ACG stuff will go for around that so you could pick up a seriously lovely custom bass for that! 4, 5 or possibly 6 string... mass produced stuff, a Lakland 55-02 s/h will be about £750, 35" scale and one of the finest mass market instruments for the money older stuff, classic Tokai stuff on here at the mo, or vintage Ibanez Blazer basses (p-bass variant) for about £350 each, There is a nice Jap Fender J on here too at a decent price... You could get a few basses for that money and have a variety to play with
