2.
Hey dude where you based
Hiya, am in Sheffield buddy
  3.
Hmm, tempting though it is, I don't think I need another 2 basses (although I don't own a fretless). I think I'm going to hold out for a while longer, thanks - I've got a few people trying to rustle up cash at the moment,
No prob bud, you are of course very welcome to buy the fretless you know

  5.
poor google-fu:
I'd say that's distinctly similar wouldn't you?
  6.
In fairness, if it was a P, it wouldn't be for sale PM's replied to. I should have mentioned I'm only interested in 4 strings, preferably passive. Cheers.
I have a pair of ibanez blazer s for sale/trade, 1 fretted and 1 fretless, both p style and superb...?
  7. really very tempted by this, the pics on Alan's website aren't helping me restrain my http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/portfolio/g0004-recurve-4-string/
  8.
Here are a couple of slightly higher res zooms of the front controls plate - The script on the right of the controls plate looks almost Orange like in terms of font style . . . also the cabinetry does appear to have that sort of angled bevel on the front face that Orange and Matamp heads have ?. . . but . . . I've searched the Orange and Matamp archives and I can't find anything that looks remotely like it ?
Tour Range that's what the text near the power lamp looks like to me...
  9.
Quite aside from the extra code that would be needed to facilitate this feature, the harsh reality is that some people can't even enter a price in the valuation field. I suspect that adding tick boxes would only create more problems.
Totally understand (and agree) matey, there's a big-ish difference between expressing a 'nice to have' and in 'expecting that thing to actually happen' isn't there
  10.
EAD Foundation 212
Precisely this, I got one after trying one and it is somewhat better, fuller, richer than the BF S12T I had before it!
  11. Sad times buddy, these are absolutely killer cabs! I love my Foundation 212 and most heartily recommend this cab to anyone wanting to sound awesome! ...eude's a top chap too!
  12.
What exactly is that pickup on the fretted one Andy ?
Hiya matey, the '80 blurb says it's a 'super b4' but it amounts to a single coil non-split pup with a heap more balls than a single j would have...

    Volume Issues

I occasionally have a similar thing, most recently with mid set farting/distortion on my clean sounds, like you it stops after a rest...might strip my pedal board down back to basics...or mebbe get a looper and have everything on separate loops...
  14. [s]For sale is my lovely Lakland 55-02, bought on here recently from DanEly to bridge a time gap between selling my ACG 6 and receiving my new ACG 5 and also fulfil a wedding gig date, well the gig is done and the 5 is here so this baby has to go… I believe it's a 2008 and was bought new by Dan, it's been looked after, I gave it a thorough clean when I got it, lemon-oiled the fingerboard, tightened all the screws etc when it arrived, I also changed the humbucker pickup coil selector switch for a new one bought straight from Lakland in the US as the old one was faulty so this is now a fully functioning piece of sunburst loveliness! Typical Lakland 35" scale lovely and taut low B, very versatile set of sounds from it's MM/J pup and 3 band preamp with selectable mid frequency. I played the whole gig on it and we do everything from classic rock to 80's and modern pop…wedding dancing choons ya-know…and it covered every sound I needed to make quite comfortably. I also got compliments from a secret bass player in the audience on how good the bass had sounded! and in a marquee too!! Condition-wise there's a minor amount of light swirling on the rear from historic belts in the bass' past, I always keep my belt covered by my t-shirt so I don't cause such issues anymore, I learnt that lesson ages ago Pics (taken post wedding gig clean-up): £750 is what I paid for it 2 weeks ago and now it's job with me is done it's time for someone else to enjoy it, it comes with a fairly well padded gig bag, collection would be lovely but happy to ship within the UK. I've also strung it with Lakland nickel round strings and have 2 sets left over which I will include (£20 a set is what they cost me 2 weeks ago), the ones on have done one gig and are more than fine still. Favoured trade options would be P-bass shaped or MM 3 band Rays…also happy to consider combination trades with my pair of blazers also advertised on here at the mo...?[/s]
  15. Mate this is beautiful and I'd hate to see it go for a song just because there's v little cash about on here at the mo...just my tuppenceworth but you may have more luck if you suggest trades for a similar value jazz?
  16. This is beautiful mate, congratulations!
  17.
Great, Andy! I'll only buy from you hereafter! best, bert
Ah bug*er t'was me fat fingered typin that left out the crucial 'no' from that statement...feck!
  18.
Agree. Whenever I send something I send it properly packed, and insured for the value of the item.
Exactly this! The wiener comments about 'at buyers risk' just force me to look elsewhere for what I'm after... I have no problem with shipping at buyers cost though...
  19. Tick boxes for 'sale', 'trade' or 'sale or trade' which can be filtered would be awesome!

  22.
Fiesta red 60's precision bass fude
thats the one I'd consider out of that bunch too, it's a cool colour!
  23. Can't believe no-one's asked you which one it is you're getting!? so... whatisitwhatisitwhatisit?
  24.
Exactly the answer I was looking for thanks andy
my pleasure matey I'll try to use more betterer spelling in future too, sorry 'bout that, fat fingers n all that
  25. The fundamentals of the bass sound like they're good & solid (neck & body), sort the electrics out n you're rockin'...new wiring loom from kiogon (bc electrical maestro), replacement pup (wizard or some other similar quality) and the rest is aesthetics, if the tuners aren't stable enough for ya swap 'em once you've tried 'em, hipshot are superb...
