1.
sad to see you selling this. could you not get the neck reworked to fit you better?
sad indeed matey, I doubt the neck could be reworked to remove an entire string's width from it though
 2.
You have hit the Mother-load, there! The later Blazer is a Cracker - the 1980 one, is a "A Sleeper!" These "Made for one year" basses are WAY better than many, at ten time the cost. I've got two of them. http://flatericbassa...of-blazers.html . . . . and yes, you do need two!
Beautiful basses mate! They look in stunning nick too! A BL700-NT and a BL700-TV, niiiice
 3.
Oh that's clever, i see what you did there.....

I missed it to start with :/
4.
Guitarists... put a capo on say the 3rd fret and play D shape, you're not playing a bloody D chord!!!!!! That's all.
They are playing an 'f'-ing d-shape though, it's just transposed 3 semitones up for capo3...
 5.
I cant play today.....I have managed to have a major underware malfunction this morning.....not only have I managed to come to work with my under strides on back to front I was talking to my boss earlier & a rolled up sock fell out of my trouser leg ....I'm either secreting foot garments from my knees or this is a sign ...... A sign that I'm in fact a daft tw*t
thankyou for my morning chuckle matey!
 6.
Beautiful .... slightly jealous here.
It's just possible that I may have to sell one or both to finance an incoming ACG but I'll be holding off as long as possible...
 7.
wow this would go nice with my acg single cut 4:-)
I think you're right matey, suit you sir
 8.
This is a lush bass. Andy brought it 'round mine one day. It plays fantastically and just has so many tones available. Andy is a top chap as well so deal with confidence. Good luck with the sale.

Oh my god.. that's beautiful!
Thanks for the kind words guys, it really is a delicious piece of work!
 9.
I ended up leaving the roundwounds on the G&L, they sound so funky
Haha, I try to let each bass decide what strings best suit it
 10. I'm the shorter one who looks a bit like a tree...
 11.
Well looks like I'm second here, but you can give me a swerve to someone more worthy! Hope I don't sound too ungrateful? A lantern and a credit card would be much more fun....
How about a Labrador and a naughty postcard?
 12. Glad you're lovin it matey! I enjoyed meeting you and the opportunity for a natter too!
 13. Nice idea ped matey, spreading the bc joy around :-D
 14.
Hi Bud, Gotta agree about the 80 !! I've had a few basses come and go over the last few years and compared to them all the only one that's had it beat is my Warwick Thumb. They really are amazing for the price they fetch.
Thanks matey, they're susprisingly amazing for the money aren't they! I wonder if the secret will continue to leak out and they'll then appreciate in value
 15.
I can see that

Yep, that one has worked OK. I can't see any sign of an older advert so I'm not too sure what happened there.
thanks guys, happy to leave it as a mystery and shuffle on with the new one that's much like the other one anyways
 16. Fancy a trade with cash my way for my ACG 6 string (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/209766-fsft-feeler-acg-recurve-s-type-6-mint/)?
 17. let's see if attempt 2 works http://basschat.co.uk/topic/209766-fsft-feeler-acg-recurve-s-type-6-mint/
 18. [s]I'm surprisingly sad about having to admit that I just can't cope with any more than 5 strings! I try to never become emotionally involved with an instrument but I just couldn't help it with this one. My hands just can't manoeuvre around a 6 string neck like I want them to and despite giving it a few months for me to get used to it, it's just not happening :-( I fully intend to get essentially the same bass but with only 5 strings from Alan as soon as I have the cash (something a lot like this, if not this very one http://www.acguitars...assic-5-string/) This is my ACG (custom – not graft) Recurve single cut 6 string, spec as follows: Ziracote top with 4mm Sycamore/4mm Wenge accent and Flame Sycamore body. Satin finish. 7 piece Wenge/Maple neck with acrylic impregnated Flame Sycamore board bound with Ziracote. Asymmetric neck carve with flat finger board. ACG EQ03 5 A/P pre-amp, ACG FB hum buckers. Hipshot Type A bridge, 18 mm spacing. Here's a link to Alan's portfolio page for this beauty: http://www.acguitars...stype-6-string/ It is in mint condition, complete with Hiscox case, it's lived in there whenever I've not been holding it, never been on a stand, been used at 6 or 8 practices, never gigged, and has a full spare set of new strings (I've not even worn out the original strings on it yet). To comission this new from Alan would cost you in excess of £2k now! I'm in Sheffield and would prefer local collection / meet up within about an hours drive radius as it's not particularly light (11lbs) and would be v pricey to ship. I will consider UK shipping though if it seals the deal.[/s]
 19. Just bought Clarky's crazy 8, total gent throughout, very patient and accommodating. Many thanks for yet another top drawer bc transaction!!
 20.
Oooh very nice! Not looking for a trade unfortunately but cheers anyway
I suspected as much, ah well
 21.
Go on Andy, you know you want it
Sorry bud, this (http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/portfolio/0123-recurve-sc-classic-5-string/) is what I really want, unless of course you fancy a trade for my ACG 6 custom (http://www.flickr.com/photos/andy_dye/sets/72157631967437610/) with cash my way?
 22. ...i've paid me subs too so it's not that either (or shouldn't be)
 23. am a bit confused, I just listed one of my basses for sale (acg recurve s-type 6) but once I'd pressed 'post' it vanished and it hasn't appeared in the 'new content' or 'basses for sale' or in 'my content'...did I post it or was I dreaming and need another coffee? confused.com
