NO LONGER FOR SALE.

Hello...

for sale or trade is my early 90's Squier Silver Series Jazz in Sunburst, RW board and black scratchplate.
Photos here - http://s1341.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1

The only thing that differs from the photos are the knobs on the control plate - They're now the shiny chrome type as I had them lying around unused.

I've known this bass since about 1997 as it has been owned by may mate since it was almost new.

Not much to say about it really - it sounds like a proper Jazz Bass and better than some US basses, is seriously light and plays well. Its a heck of a lot of bass for not much money.
I'm sure many of you can support my opinion on this!!

It has a fair few battle scars on it but these don't affect the playability.
It comes with a gig bag and I'd rather not post if it can be helped - I've experienced too many broken necks!!

I'm getting rid as I already own another 2 Jazz Basses - a Japanese 75 RI and an all original USA 74.
I really need a P bass in my life, or the cash to put towards one.

So - if it's trade, I'm ONLY interested in a Precision Bass, nowt else.

Cheers.

I've also got an early 90s one in cream.

Superb jazz. I mean it.

I have played many US jazz's that have not come close to challenging my silver.

The sound of the pups is very edgy in the upper mids and has very deep lows for J pups. Plus if the playability is anything like mine when set up properly this is an insturment you would normally need to spend 3 times (still second hand) this amount to get something as good.

Bump.
No love for this? A great bass as a backup, or a main player if you're worried about gigging your pride and joy at certain venues.

might you be interested in a '80 Ibanez Blazer (read p-bass with extra balls) trade type thing?

The are indeed.

Postage to Halifax within 1 working day is £20 according to parcelforce. That's insured too.

Not really into the 'parts bass' - I'm ideally after a cash sale to put the funds towards a decent Fender P.

Cheers.
