2. French £120 http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=150580744560 French £110? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=140991211695 French £90? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=200403175627
3.
My first real bow was a carbon fiber French bow from yita music on ebay. I think it was £120 and i still have it. Very good bow for the price.
Fab, thanks. I'm guessing french is easier to pick up as the tension is done by the bow rather than by your fingers as in german? Is that the main difference?
4. This question interests me too as I'm after a decent beginner bow for my nxt4. The ns designs website specifically states the fingerboard is shaped as per an acoustic upright and so is 'perfect' for bowing...I wouldn't have got one otherwise ;-)
5. lovely!
6. the only 'rule' per sé is that if your pedals are mostly 'true bypass' it's useful to either start or end with a buffered one as that helps keep the top end in your signal... apart from that, have a happy afternoon playing switcheroo with the order to find one that works for you!
7. Hiya, is it series I, II or III? Pics of your cab will help you no end here matey
8. If my ony of my blazers sells I'm still tempted...
9. Interested in any trades on the aguilar matey? Ibanez blazer bass fretted or fretless with cash my way?
10. The sfx micro-h is simply superb, mine gets a lot of use!!
11. might you be interested in a '80 Ibanez Blazer (read p-bass with extra balls) trade type thing? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/210050-fs-ibanez-blazer-80-bl-700-81-bl-700nt-fretless/page__fromsearch__1
12. Welcome matey, browse to your heart's content, don't forget to chip into discussions but don't take anything personally as typed comments don't have the wry smile of the typist when you read them back I've no idea about your hohner/steinberger request but you could post an ad in the 'stuff-wanted' forum and see if anyone shouts up? 13. I spotted this on the lakland owners group forum and wondered what the combined wisdom of bc would make of it... http://www.laklandowners.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=23&id=19587&Itemid=158
That is just bloody gorgeous. Why oh why did you have to show us that. Good luck with the sale and sorry for hijacking the thread but had to show my admiration
I think that's known 'in the trade' as a free bump matey
17.
ah I've seen a few of those around, beautiful indeed... I'm currently having a letts custom build that should satify my coffee table bass needs...
Jon-boy does lovely pieces of wood too, I had a Letts fretless 6 for a while that was gorgeous but the scale length proved too much for my intonation so I let it go to someone else with better reach than I
18.
No thats last weeks 'must have' deluxe fender jazz... I decided the sandberg would better suit my jazz bass shaped needs... I'll probably be desperate for something else next week.. damn i'm fickle
now my friend (he said gently opening the shop door to reveal many shiny things lain hidden for many minutes) have you tried an ACG...
19.
Ha ha yes there is a Natural VM 5 shaped hole in my collection...
...and now the shopping list is on view, would that be your avatar too matey?
20.
Picked this up about a month ago new, it’s a wonderful player with a huge variety of sounds. I’d rather not be parting with it, truth be told, but I’ve got a serious Sandberg California VM 5 (Natural) itch and need to raise some funds / make some room. Here is a video of me playing it, only video camera audio but the rough gist comes across. *Edit can't seem to post video* As new condition (see pics) Taking a bit of a hit on this one, considering I bought it new a month or so back, as I need to raise some funds. Pick up only I’m afraid. Anyone around the Camden area is welcome to pop over one evening and try it out. I still have the tags it came with and the original receipt and I’ll throw in an unused Stagg gigbag as well. No trades as I need to add to the ‘Sandberg Pot’
unless presumably someone has the exact Sandberg you're looking for, then you'd be in a quandry eh 'G&L are superbly built basses, even the Tribby ones' type bump!
21.
Sorry Andy, had gone by time of your post.
No prob matey, hilariously speedy sale! Congrats
