There are worse things to suffer from mate
I just keep on having to buy british, I can't help it, oh woe is me
I've got the exact pre in my 6 string ACG, I don't think you'll be disappointed matey
I shall hold you and TPJ entirely responsible (well not entirely but possibly a little bit) matey! You for encouraging the ACG obsession (scoopitis) and TPJ for showing me the East pre on his Warmoth...
Gets my vote too - And I already have an AGC fretless fiver Mine really sings with the ACG 01 pre, I'd be interested to hear your opinion of the 3 band, Andy
I already have an ACG 5'er (custom Recurve SC Classic with the 03 pre) so am very curious to meet a graft and compare the gubbins! I fancied a simpler pre on the fretless still with some control over mids but not in such an intense global way as with the custom ACG pre and I've heard really good and transparent things about the East stuff so wanted to give one a shot
Nice one Andy, that's a real looker!
Thanks matey, Alan is a wood wizard isn't he! I've not even got it yet and am already planning ACG 3
*Like* :-) Fretless 5 gets my vote anyway; never played an ACG but that does look rather quality!
I'd recommend trying one matey, Alan makes seriously good basses!

Jazz basses, I hate playing them, they don't ever sound right to me and I always hate the matchstick neck on them, so why do I keep lusting after them! Yes I know they look nice, really nice I must stop buying them though!!

I tend to use either electric-fretless or electric-upright when accompanying my singer-songwriter friend and they blend really nicely with the acoustic guitar vibe... -
MB1. Ha Ha! Does that mean I could "possibly close it" then ? ...don't say possibly!
um...hopefully soon? I've had the beginnings of a very promising conversation/offer so wanted to gently update the status to save wasting anyone elses gas without declaring it properly sold cos it's not really / quite yet...um...you get the idea
