1.
Just seen this today, what's going on here. Are there lots of ACG basses to check out or something? Where/What is Drew's place? Jazzyvee
The Manchester Bass Lounge is having a 'meet the luthier' evening, tonight is Alan's turn, there'll be ACG basses there, you need to email Drew to see if there are tickets left (they're free but space is tight I think) http://manchesterbasslounge.com/

really really like this bass! It may be perfect for a new project too, cash + camping gear perhaps (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/216560-fs-assorted-camping-gear/)?
  3. that makes 3 then...any more?
  4.
Yup, I'll be there. Picking up a new addition from Alan
oo exciting! cya there matey!
  5.
Yup, I'll be there, Drew's place is in Worsley, and parking's pretty much ad hoc on the street. See you there!
Fab, cya there matey!
  6. Just that really apart from is anyone else going? ...and does anyone know exactly where it is and where to park?
  7. there are few rules and those are more like guidelines, let your ears be your guide matey, if it sounds good to you then that's what works...
  8. I bought tom's latest looper, excellent quality, lightning postage, superb value for money! I want another one please :-)
  9. I'm really tempted type bump! Also, Delberthot is a top chap, don't hesitate to deal with this man
  10. I always send a deliberate pm confirming I've left feedback and including a link to my feedback thread, there've still been a couple who haven't but nearly all will (when they get chance)...?
  11.
ok mate...I know now :-)
12.
Hmm, you're not convincing anyone with that line....
13.

Matey, your question would have been better as a pm, price queries are deemed impolite in threads around here ;-)
  14.
Sold pending usual gubbins
Hurrah :-)
  15. Wasn't blaming you dude, I think it's just a function of closing and opening the thread n wotnot...it's crystal now though matey ;-)
  16. I'll have it please, it's exactly what I'm after :-)
  17.
How much is it now?
I think it's £500 from the edited op but it's not blindingly obvious to me either matey...
  18. bargain for a mega useful little box! I give it another hour at most
  19.
What diameter rod did you go for? I went for the 2mm (smallest) as it is what the original markers were. I daresay the 2.5 or 3mm ones show up better, hope the small ones are fit for purpose.
Not sure what size they are matey, I'll have a look tonight and see if I can measure it, they are lovely and small but give off plenty of light!
  20.
If I was considering a new NXT I think I would have to look at that, but funds are only there for a used bass right now!
I know the feeling matey, I may be able to scrape the additional dosh together to treat myself to it if the wife gives the nod and if I can sell my nxt to someone...first hurdle is wifely nod though
  21.
Actually that is not all. I used my Classic series 50s P Bass with flats for the first time in this rig, really nicely suited.
Glad it's making you happy matey! I'm missing it so will hopefully be having a wee look at a roadworn when am in Manc next Wednesday...oops
  22.
Bass direct have a CR4M for £1100!
oo! http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/NS_Design_CR4M.html it's too lovely! I can't drive all the way to Coventry to have a look can I? I'll ask my wife if I'm allowed to...
  23. I have one and it's great, I'd only consider selling if I had an option on one of the higher spec models...it sounds fab! I need to get a new tripod stand for it soon though as it's starting to get a leetle bit wobbly...
  24. I must not buy a jazz cos I really don't like the thin necks
  25. Every standard mexican bass I've tried has been pure sh*te, the 50's p I had was awesome, I'm aiming to try a roadworn next week if it's still in the shop I'm going to visit, I can conculde (from the very small sample of mex fenders I've tried) that the std ones are at best very hit & miss but the higher eschelons of mex fender are loads better, possibly even superb (especially for th emoney involved!)!? in my limited experience of course... try before you buy and you may find a gem?
