I'm sh*te and my fingers are pretty long.

I've always played with it almost as high as I can...just feels more comfortable and easy to use. I'm 19. Does this mean mentally I'm older or am I just weird?

Bass arrived in Motherwell this morning and all is well and continuing!

This competition is annoying me as I have a great idea but I don't believe such a thing actually exists

For people in Glasgow, the bass will be in Audio on the 18th of December and it's only 3 quid to get in if you wish to come along and laugh at me getting confused by simple basslines as well as 3 people who actually know how to play the thing!

This isn't string related but I did have the 9v battery die on 2 basses at the one time within 5 minutes of each other at a rehearsal.

Broke a G string once (no pun intended) and a D string by trying to tune it to G by accident. At this time I hadnt been playing 4 months so I was being stupid and not paying attention

I played "Squeeze me macaroni" as my audition for my music course at college. Loved Mr Bungle for a good few years now

The current plan is for the bass to be courier upto Glasgow by the 17th for Donald and I (gig on 18th and 20th). I had a word with Campbell Owens (Original Aztec Camera bassist) who has said he'd like to play the bass on the 18th as well!

Runaway by Jamiroquai Crying machine by Steve Vai is also pretty fun!
