1.
Thumb comfy sitting down -yes Thumb comfy sitting down -no
Mine is extremely comfy in both! It isnt the bubinga model so it being lighter than normal could have something to do with it?
2. I can't vouch for peavey but I do hear a lot of praise for them! Yamahas are really good quality for the value. Ibanez sr500's are fairly decent and can be picked up second hand usually really cheap
3. I was going to say Warwick thumb is exceedingly comfortable sitting down and standing
4. Trevor Dunns versatility always inspires me.
5. Love Meshuggah and Haake is a phenomenal drummer. Saw them live last year and they were insanely tight (especially considering what they were playing!)
6. I was going to buy this one myself but then found a sr506 for the same price and went for that!
7. Wish I could make it but I'd need to book a hotel if I was to come!
8.
Nope it is for 1 pack it says they have 5 available if you look
Mobile site isn't that clear!
9. The ad is for 5 packs though? It says "Quantity 5"
10. I'm trying to convince myself I can afford the B3k...
11. A few years ago a similar thing happened with a big muff pedal and I went to pick it up and send it out for him. It's nice to be nice, never know when the favour will be returned
12. I'm sh*te and my fingers are pretty long.
13. I've always played with it almost as high as I can...just feels more comfortable and easy to use. I'm 19. Does this mean mentally I'm older or am I just weird?
14. This is a public site sir!
15.
Let me know if you can work out how the knobs work!
I can't, I tried but passive systems confuse the buggery out of me
16.
Phew, my packaging survived!
And was a struggle to get through!
17. Bass arrived in Motherwell this morning and all is well and continuing!
18. This competition is annoying me as I have a great idea but I don't believe such a thing actually exists
19. If it falls through I call seconds!
20. For people in Glasgow, the bass will be in Audio on the 18th of December and it's only 3 quid to get in if you wish to come along and laugh at me getting confused by simple basslines as well as 3 people who actually know how to play the thing!
21. This isn't string related but I did have the 9v battery die on 2 basses at the one time within 5 minutes of each other at a rehearsal.
22. Quite a few trade offers type bump
23. Broke a G string once (no pun intended) and a D string by trying to tune it to G by accident. At this time I hadnt been playing 4 months so I was being stupid and not paying attention
24. Talk about bad timing. I got the filter yesterday -_-
25. I played "Squeeze me macaroni" as my audition for my music course at college. Loved Mr Bungle for a good few years now
