1.
I'll have it. PM'ed
Good choice sir.
2.
Well I'm a frequent visitor to Wolvs' Civic so this is equally as tempting...
All I can say is I love mine and if it werent for my lack of £200 I would buy this despite already owning one!
3.
What's the difference between this and the current K5 apart from, obviously, colour/finish?
Weight and they sound a bit different I believe. If it wasnt for me already owning one of these I would have bought this one by now. Even travelling to Wolverhampton in a few weeks.
4.
I think his style is great, it fits with the genre. But I'd go as far as saying that his style is so unique and out of the box that it was probably too far out of reach to really inspire players to pick up the 5 string or even begin playing bass.
It inspired me to pick up a 5 string and to play bass (Along with Claypool)
5. Aint the most technical guy but he is one my favourites 'cause I cant really think of anybody with a similar style (unless its styled on him). I met him last year, nice guy. Gave me a signed vest (modified t shirt actually) that he was going to wear on stage that night.
6. Arif Mirabdolbaghi
7. Damn, I've just noticed this but I have a gig (seeing, not playing) that day.
8. In reply to the thread title. No I don't!
9. The curiosity is killing me here!
10. I imagine Dillinger Escape plan wouldnt be the safest for driving.
11. Unatural selection by Muse. Groovy little bassline, really fun to play
12. 300!? Bloomin 'eck! I have to say this is exactly why I love this site. The fact that it's more than just a place people come on and trade small talk and that it's more of a community than a website. People always seem to do what they can to help others on here, even if it's just something small, it's always nice.
13. Cameron Jamieson - Motherwell, Scotland
14.
I was going to suggest that as there will be too many suggestions, if anyone has a problem they can go and think of their own awesome idea
Donate to basschat! Also, if it makes it to Scotland I'd love to be a part of this
15. Been about a year since I tried anything in a shop but I think I just played whatever I had learned recently/was enjoying playing the most at that time.
16. Him : "when are you free for recording?" Me : "anytime after Thursday" An hour later Him "We're booked for Tuesday"
17. I love this idea.
18.
PITA to explain. The top curve of the bass follows the bottom of my rib cage basically. EDIT: I don't own that bass anymore but same applies for the ones I do.
That height.
19. Mark (7string)'s fretless Sei bass. By far the nicest bass I've saw in person. Apart from that, Carl Thompsons are beautiful -especially the darker wood ones-
20.
Thanks for destroying what was supposed to be a sensible and informative thread guys. Really appreciate that.
I feel bad now. Sorry
21. If I tuck it between my legs can I answer this?
22.
How do you feel about spark plugs?
Love 'em.
23. I enjoy music better when the quality is better. Same as I enjoy a meal when the food is of better quality.
