The two people I know who have bought the Beatles Mono box set both rave about the superiority of Mono. This may be true or possibly a defence/justification of the £150 odd it cost I've not heard the mono versions myself bit really like the stereo separation in the 'standard' CDs that I have. The Mono versions are on Spotify you say? That's the next week or two sorted then

The main consideration is finding a head which does both DB and electric well - EA as you know are great for this anyway, as are Acoustic Image

I was expecting something a bit more artisan and postmodern. Worse than being 'marmite' that bass is just plain dull

I saw Iggy and the Stooges at Glastonbury 2007 - he invited the audience to invade the stage! There must have been a hundred people up there - total chaos. Iggy kept his cool, the guitarist walked off and the security guards finally managed to get them all off. Rock n Roll

Not seen that post, but they have form with hinting/announcing breakups just for a laugh. I hope not - I've seen them as a teen in the early 90s and also in 2015. Superb each time. Punk with substance and creativity.

[/quote] There is a firm side (less sensitive, better for standing up) and a soft side (more sensitive, better for sitting down) You'll have trouble finding a pitch you like and sticking with it like you could with an expression pedal - you can stay in the ballpark though. You can definitely control whether you want your sweep to be slow/fast or high/low. Hoe good is it? Still to be confirmed. It had that beautiful tone, but although the 440w was always loud enough, but only just (same with the EBS 350) - it just felt wrong having to turn the knob almost fully cranked despite the fact t it was loud enough and sounded great. The Heart Rock II would be amazing I reckon

Fresh roundwounds, a plectrum and heavy attack towards the bridge will help too (if not already doing those. Apologies if that's stating the obvious)
