1.
I've enjoyed stuff like Daft Punk's Random Access Memoirs recently as the production is so good so anything of that ilk would be great. What is out there?
Try "It's Album Time" by Todd Terje Enjoy your trip 🌞❄
2.
Thank you, yes simple wet or dry (though compressed) is it. So the simple bypass looper sounds like a solution -- any particular recommendations or otherwise?
Bright onion or Vein tap should do you
3. If I read it correctly, you want to either have straight from comp to amp, or bring in the others at once with a single stomp? Do you also want to mix the 'dry' and wet signals? Ie "A+B" on the second ABY? If you simply want "wet or dry" then a single bypass looper will do it for you for around £25 ("off" is straight from input to output, and "on" engages whatever loop you have connected to it) If you want to mix the signals with control over volumes, the SFX Loop Logic will do that, although it's more wonga.
4. Huge fan of HH - this is one of my favourites. Funnily enough I have previously posted this in funk thread and was told that it is not funk! Just goes to show how different perceptions are: http://youtu.be/lfK5dppG1xg

6.
Just mentally thinking through my pedal board every single pedal has input on the right and output on the left. And given I own pedals by TC Electronics, Joyo, Morley, EHX, Boss and Tech 21... I would hazard you're seriously swimming upstream on that one
So everyone agrees what way round they go, it's just that some find that way less than intuitive
7. I'm quite into Aesop Rock at the moment. Love the production on this: http://youtu.be/52d1CcpEEl8
8. Going back a few months - I'd love one of these, and could even forgive it for having one string too few http://basschat.co.uk/topic/289712-industrial-radio-pro-4-midi-bass-new-version-with-fretsense-interface-imprint-module-ni-reaktormassive-plogue-bidule/page__fromsearch__1
9. I've had money from a bass sale sitting in my PayPal account for over a month but no GAS! It's going to go on a new bike frame
10.
what is this Hootenanny you speak of ?
An annual pre-recorded New Year's Eve musical TV programme, incessantly featuring Gregory Porter and Ruby Turner, with the odd bit of Jools Holland talking crap.
11. Haha. I had a a paypal query which quickly became irrelevant as the chap changed his mind about payment method. My season's greetings were still heartfelt and must not be ignored under any circumstances.
12. Ignore pls Merry Christmas everyone
13. Thanks Jay, yes it is a great little interface. Great sounding demo btw and nice tight playing
14. It's a good head which is loud and flexible. IMO it is better at clean than dirty (I wasn't fond of the overdriven tone). I had a bit of trouble getting clarity at volume when I cut the treble/boosted the bass so moved it on. Overall though, it's a quality head and useful for quite a few applications.
15. Maybe some sort of cross bracing to support the cloth more?
16.
I wasn't being entirely serious.
Well I found it very funny
17. The year is almost through, so what album have you really enjoyed from this year? For me, there have been a few, but the one that has had the biggest impact for me was Kate Tempest's "Let Them Eat Chaos"; the moody, understated synthy soundtrack perfectly accompanies Kate's wonderful poetry/hip hop storytelling (not a bass guitar in sight) Looking forward to your recommendations. A brief description of the album would be great.
