I have amazed myself by successfully listening to and uploading patches onto my FI. At first the editor didn't recognise the FI, but I installed the Roland driver, flicked the switch on the interface to 'comp', then selected the correct interface for in and out in the editor. Boom. In the small random selection of patches I've listened to so far, I've found some great sounds - more useful than the stock ones. Can't wait to explore more!

Loop 2 bypasses the amp and goes straight to the PA via the Stagebug.

In a nutshell, you have a very logical approach, but for most people, preferences and purchasing decisions in life are heavily based on emotional factors.

I put the Lo Riders on the bass last week and had my first outing last night. My first impressions? Wow! These are BASSY, and LOUD. after two songs I realised that during the string change I had accidentally cranked my bass knob all the way up 🤣 So they are great - punchy, deep and clear. I love the tight feel too, and didn't even need to make any truss rod/saddle adjustments. We have a winner!

I sold a Hot Hand 3 to Ed in an easy transaction; fast payment and good communication. Cheers Ed!

Sounds great; clear but not obnoxious in the mix. I'd say more emphasis on the upper mids compares to a P's lower mids. Nice playing too

I can only think of one occasion in the last several years of gigging where bass wasn't through a PA (OP that was at JT Soar, and you know how tiny that is) My priorities in a cab: 1: High quality sound* 2: Can safely handle my deeep subby pedals 3: Less than 13" deep so it can fit where it needs to under the stairs. 4: Light/Portable 5: Looks good 5: Dispersion/other *sans PA at rehearsals

New string time. In the past I've quite liked the Status Hot wires and D'Addario Chromes but think I'd like a tighter feel. A clear deep fundamental + defined top end preferred over anything mid-heavy. DR Low Riders look like they could be good (at £50 they'd need to be!) Any other recommendations?
