1. Delighted to hear about the recovery of your gear. I wonder whether a dashboard-type camera hidden in the stashing spot might reveal anything interesting over time... Or you, in camo, with a trident...
2.
What's not to like?!! (Apart from the price tag!)
All that gold!
3. Did the Trace cab have a tweeter? Maybe that's the zing you liked the sound of.
4. Just don't perch on the rear edge and tilt forwards, lest the wheels wheels scoot the cab backwards from under you, and you fall in an embarrassing heap.
5. 15 stone* regular Barefaced-sitter here *95kg
6. Mike Oldfield's difficult second album [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/FB_IMG_1499003622578_zpsvlsruoek.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
7. I don't know why, but I LOVE the solo on Queen's "I want to break free" Also, Sympathy for the Devil
8.
i agree, and that's my point, the killers should have been on the main stage and ed consigned to the tent Did't like the new single though!
The Killers actually headlined the Pyramid Stage one year about 10 years ago, I suppose they were at their zenith in terms of popularity and thats a huge factor when it comes to a headliner. I didn't watch them, instead I went to see Iggy and the Stoogies at The Other Stage - so many choices!
9.
A street corner busker. With loops...
...and £37m
10. Do they still need 12v? That was a disadvantage for me. Also they are large. Other than that, they are very versatile. I used mine as a boost, an overdrive and a powerful EQ. The DI is good too. I never used the headphone function but can see how it would be useful to some. Quality and useful piece of kit
11. Looks very cool. I could see that paired up with an Avalon U5. Surprised not to see an xlr input though
12. I was 16 and it was amazing [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/1990%201_zpskbiafnto.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
13. They supported Bruno Mars when they came to Nottingham - I heard very good reports about their performance
14.
Taken a better picture now, how high do you think a Gibson Thunderbird through this lot will register on the Richter scale?
I had always imagined the SC to be much smaller than the ST, but looking at that picture, there's not much in it!
15.
Wakeman probably didnt lose any sleep mind.
..for all you know, he could be the most talented w***a of them all
16. [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/FB_IMG_1498210918389_zpsysaec2uz.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
17. One of my first ever gigs; 27 years ago this month at Maysfield Leisure Centre, Belfast. Superb in so many ways.
18. Supporting the Hempolics at The Bodega last Thursday. Rumbled playing past the 12th fret! [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/IMG_2983_zps1c829bhd.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/IMG_3010_zpsrpxfqyj3.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
19. Two Flats and two rounds. You're welcome.
20. Next up, as part of Refugee Week, we are half of the live entertainment at World Music Night, along with MUHA, Nottingham Contemporary, This Saturday 24th June
21. I was expecting cheesy bollox or muso tripe, but that was actually pretty good!
22.
I'd prefer to be playing an AER Bass Cube 1 combo they have for sale at Bass Direct.
Doesn't quite fit the ornamental classic design brief though..
23. I've been through a few: SWR, all valve (x2), Euphonic Audio, Genz (x2), EBS, Trace Elliot, Glockenklang (x2), plus several combinations of pre/power amp. The one which ticks all the boxes for me, and I can't fault at all is the Glockenklang Blue Rock. I've never considered anything else since getting this amp. As you might expect, it's expensive, and has gone up by around £200 since I bought mine due to the weak pound Still, for me this is the perfect amp.
24. Next Thursday we support The Hempolics at the Bodega, Nottingham. I have another commitment which I'm trying to work around, so it will either be bass-less acoustic set or full electric noise.
