1. I don't know why, but I LOVE the solo on Queen's "I want to break free" Also, Sympathy for the Devil
2.
i agree, and that's my point, the killers should have been on the main stage and ed consigned to the tent Did't like the new single though!
The Killers actually headlined the Pyramid Stage one year about 10 years ago, I suppose they were at their zenith in terms of popularity and thats a huge factor when it comes to a headliner. I didn't watch them, instead I went to see Iggy and the Stoogies at The Other Stage - so many choices!
3.
A street corner busker. With loops...
...and £37m
4. Do they still need 12v? That was a disadvantage for me. Also they are large. Other than that, they are very versatile. I used mine as a boost, an overdrive and a powerful EQ. The DI is good too. I never used the headphone function but can see how it would be useful to some. Quality and useful piece of kit
5. Looks very cool. I could see that paired up with an Avalon U5. Surprised not to see an xlr input though
6. I was 16 and it was amazing [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/1990%201_zpskbiafnto.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
7. They supported Bruno Mars when they came to Nottingham - I heard very good reports about their performance
8.
Taken a better picture now, how high do you think a Gibson Thunderbird through this lot will register on the Richter scale?
I had always imagined the SC to be much smaller than the ST, but looking at that picture, there's not much in it!
9.
Wakeman probably didnt lose any sleep mind.
..for all you know, he could be the most talented w***a of them all
10. [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/FB_IMG_1498210918389_zpsysaec2uz.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
11. One of my first ever gigs; 27 years ago this month at Maysfield Leisure Centre, Belfast. Superb in so many ways.
12. Supporting the Hempolics at The Bodega last Thursday. Rumbled playing past the 12th fret! [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/IMG_2983_zps1c829bhd.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/IMG_3010_zpsrpxfqyj3.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
13. Two Flats and two rounds. You're welcome.
14. Next up, as part of Refugee Week, we are half of the live entertainment at World Music Night, along with MUHA, Nottingham Contemporary, This Saturday 24th June
15. I was expecting cheesy bollox or muso tripe, but that was actually pretty good!
16.
I'd prefer to be playing an AER Bass Cube 1 combo they have for sale at Bass Direct.
Doesn't quite fit the ornamental classic design brief though..
17. I've been through a few: SWR, all valve (x2), Euphonic Audio, Genz (x2), EBS, Trace Elliot, Glockenklang (x2), plus several combinations of pre/power amp. The one which ticks all the boxes for me, and I can't fault at all is the Glockenklang Blue Rock. I've never considered anything else since getting this amp. As you might expect, it's expensive, and has gone up by around £200 since I bought mine due to the weak pound Still, for me this is the perfect amp.
18. Next Thursday we support The Hempolics at the Bodega, Nottingham. I have another commitment which I'm trying to work around, so it will either be bass-less acoustic set or full electric noise. [Img]http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/FB_IMG_1496951343605_zpsubaxxmun.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
19.
DR Sunbeams for me. I import them from the States and it's £19 a set total. No custom charges too.
Cool. Got a link?
20.
Are you a solo artist by any chance?
A solo bass player doesn't need bad breath for people to stay away
21. I have amazed myself by successfully listening to and uploading patches onto my FI. At first the editor didn't recognise the FI, but I installed the Roland driver, flicked the switch on the interface to 'comp', then selected the correct interface for in and out in the editor. Boom. In the small random selection of patches I've listened to so far, I've found some great sounds - more useful than the stock ones. Can't wait to explore more!
22. Sounds similar to my little board: Here it is in 'practice/no PA' mode: [Img] http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/20161118_212851_zpstvlj0phi.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> It goes Tuner>Loop Logic>amp The Loop Logic has 2 loops Loop 1 = Octave > fuzz > low pass filter Loop 2 = Density Hulk (basically same as meatbox) So I can have each loop individually, or together in parallel, with a separate level control for each. Here's the 'Hulk through PA' mode: [Img] http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/christopher_brown14/rackbags/20161118_211330_zpsxmaudqr5.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> On the Hulk, I have removed the 'out' plug and inserted the green cable which goes to the Stagebug (great DI BTW) So here, Loop 1 goes through my amp and into the PA. Loop 2 bypasses the amp and goes straight to the PA via the Stagebug.
23.
Id play it more like this...
Or this http://youtu.be/8jZhivKY62s
24. Stir it Up - Bob Marley and the Waiters A little Bit of Love - Free Google on Reggae Woman - Stevie Wonder Lol, I've left the autocorrect versions intact as they are funny
