I used to play alto, then a few years ago my youngest spawn started to play, so now I have one in the house again and I'm surprised how much I remember. She is better than me though! -

The amusing thing is - if it was a Les Paul, then the neck will be stronger after the break and repair than before! Even so - I'd have to be desperate for that model, and I'd need to know who did the work (with a receipt) before I considered it.

Got another update. Worldwide shortage. Might not be enough stock to cover my order in the next delivery. Chances of getting it before Christmas are looking slim.

Last renewal I moved from Allianz to New Moon. Saved me about 50% on the renewal! Never had to claim from them so I don't know who good that bit is though.

If they could be 10lb then I'm out completely anyway. 8.5 lb is my absolute max, and even then it has to be perfectly balanced for that. Usually I want under 8 lb. I'll keep saving for a new Stingray 5. While they say they are about 9lb but vary a bit, some on TB have them under 8.5lb. Just have to be patient when I've got the money together. -
For about a day the Andertons site said 20-something of November. Now it's back to Unknown date again. Dawsons are showing 9th December 2019. I wonder what is going on? Has demand been so high even the mighty Boss can't cope? Or have they let the YTS kid have a go at making them and they've had to bin a batch?

Tippex is a great idea. Matt white finish and then draw a black line on it. That would save a lot of hassle.

No - it's really tight. I might email MB and ask them. And tell them how stupid the knobs are. Anything reflective for use in a stage light environment is stupid.

That might be do-able! Also - why the smeg don't these companies use knobs with grub screws so it's easy? Eijits.

Don't think that would work either - there is only 1mm of space at the side of the knob.

No room - the knobs are slightly sunk into the front panel.
